I play Texas holdem on www.pogo.com, but it's only for fun and tokens, not money.

I dont think there are many sites where you can play for actual $ due to laws in usa/canada. But scorepoker has free tourneys you play for prizes like seats in WSOP or other real life tournys and other tournys free with cash prizes.

Wish I understood it - I've read several versions of the same rules now and still dont get it. I dont think I'll ever get it, unless someone sits with me and physically shows me what the heck is going on! Yes, even a genius like me struggles with some things. E

Yeah, I have never understood poker or any card game. I just don't see the fun it it. My parents used to play Canasta (I think I spelled that right?) on the weekends when I was a kid. I just never saw what was fun about it. I do like board games and chess, but I just don't get card games. But, to each their own.

I play a lot of poker online - (not usually for tokens.) I'm not US player, so I can't speak with any real authority on this issue - but should you wish to play online poker for (shhh....) real money, Pokerstars and Full Tilt Poker seem to be pretty dominated by American and Canadian players, so they must be getting around these laws somehow. They are also where I choose to play because, they're busy, I'm happy to support any site that is willing to stick their neck out against meaningless laws - and because, well, Americans are often quite soft players [:)]. greetings faerytattooedgirl, i play online at pogo sometimes. i'm more of an online scrabble girl (http://www.isc.ro) than poker, though. master and i play penny poker every now and then, but we usually play rummy more often, because i always beat the pants off of him and he doesn't like losing his massive collection of change. respectfully, annabelle.
