I am in Virginia, about 2 hours south of DC. There are always great things happening in DC. The local BDSM community there is the Black Rose, in case you haven't discovered that for yourself yet. They are the largest group around, and always have activities going on. You will find plenty of your peers there. There is also the Crucible, which is a place that has parties and activities going on all the time. I am planning a trip up there myself soon. The Black Rose holds a lot of their events there also. Good luck, you are in a very good area for lots of activities and people of like mind.
