Well (in NZ at least), we've closed the book on 2007 and starting writing in the new one we got for the new year. A toast to existing friends and family. And a second toast to the new ones that will be entering our lives. May our good new years resolution be achieved. And the one's that would make us boring, fail. Merry new year world [:D]

I just saw Dick Clark on TV and I am not sure he is going to make it to 2008. He looks horrible. I had heard he was ill, but I think his days are numbered. jen

You know he had a stroke in 2004, but I would have thought he would have been a lot better by now. Has he had another one?

I don't know. They just said on TV that he was sick. They just remarked that it is no longer a rockin' new years eve without Dick Clark. I think this may be the end of a long tradition. jen

It's just about midnight eastern time and here I am. What an exciting life I lead. But as far as I'm concerned, 2008 can only be better than 2007. As far as Mr Clark is concerned ... often one stroke leads to others. It's not an easy way to go. My sympathies to his family and friends.
