I'm too late to give the OP useful advice but here's some for anyone going to the public dungeons/clubs in NYC. Unless they have seriously changed policies -- wear shoes at all times and don't put your hands or fingers in your month after you've touched anything there before you clean up. While having penetrated sex was not allowed when I was in NYC, people (mostly men) did wank off quite frequently and the floors and other surfaces could get nasty fast.

I had a really great time at Paddles last night. It wasn't too crowded and the extra play rooms were great. We played in the dungeon, the school classroom and the oriental throne room. Everyone was very respectful. I would say about a third of the crowd were older male voyeurs but I didn't see any open masturbation. Overall the place was pretty clean. The food and champagne wasn't very good but that wasn't really what we were there for. There were plenty of couples and we even met some new friends. Playing in public turned out to be a major turn-on for me and we had too much fun. I loved being watched and we put on a pretty good show. (Even though I can't compete with some of the marks the other subs were taking.) It was nice to walk around, mostly naked, among people who thought that was completely normal. Yeah, that's one of the reasons they've stayed open a lot longer than other venues, because they crack down on any health-code violations and things that'd put'm outside of the law.
