ha! that cute lil 10 pound puppy on my profile is now a 55 pound klutz who sleeps in the bed with me......he rolled over yesterday and went THUD onto the floor.....looked up at me like wtf ya do that for, then jumped back up and went to the middle of the bed instead of the edge.

hes quite the great snuggler on a cold night tho.......

Missokyst -> RE: I sleep with a teddy bear (12/29/2007 7:44:54 PM)

I sleep with a yellow duck.  I tucked his wings and legs inside his body so now he looks like a big yellow peep.  He is very comfy, can fit under my arm or beneath my neck.
I take him with me if I plan to be out of town.

so glad I'm not the only one! I've always slept with a stuffed animal, current one is a dog who's on his last leg. In addition, I sleep wtih 4 pillows, and two of my four dogs. If I ever have an SO..we'll have to get a king bed!

I used to, but he became pretty fragile after some 40 odd years of hugging so now he is flattened in a frame and hanging on my wall.[:)]

Poor flat bear.   I don't sleep with a stuffed animal but I do have to have a fluffy pillow to hug which I'm sure is just an adult substitute.

GreedyTop -> RE: I sleep with a teddy bear (12/29/2007 7:52:24 PM)

I have 2 cats that allow me to share the bed with them.  One sleeps next to my tummy (sometimes under the covers), the other bounces from one end of the bed to the other.  Friggin animal is HYPER!  lol

TMaster2 -> RE: I sleep with a teddy bear (12/29/2007 7:59:09 PM)

I do too, but not really mine.  missfit likes to have him (the stuffie) so there ya go.  (Actually its a rabbit, not a bear, but still)

DragonLadysFire -> RE: I sleep with a teddy bear (12/29/2007 8:07:02 PM)

I never really had a teddy bear, but I have my stuffed velociraptor. *chuckles*[;)]

lilsubl -> RE: I sleep with a teddy bear (12/29/2007 8:07:34 PM)

i sleep with a 12-lb chihuahua-terrier & his 2 stuffed squeeky toys & his rawhide chew bone in a twin-sized bunk in a semi...when i'm not in bed, he sleeps on top of the covers on his blankie...when i go to bed, he roots under the comforter, but on top of my blanket........

weneedyourhelp -> RE: I sleep with a teddy bear (12/29/2007 8:07:42 PM)

Our owners are a beagle and a golden retiriver.They allow us from time to time, to share in the king size bed that we were so generous to provide for them. But I tell ya theres nothing better than all that body heat on a cold night.

KyttynTheMynx -> RE: I sleep with a teddy bear (12/29/2007 8:08:34 PM)

I let the dogs sleep in my bed in the winter.  My pups are NOT good bed partners due to the fact that they like to kick and push their paws into my ribs, kidneys, face, boobs, or whatever they happen to be kicking.  That and Dora (the jack russell) had bad night time gas.  Oh well...The dogs are nice on cold nights.

lighthearted -> RE: I sleep with a teddy bear (12/29/2007 8:49:45 PM)

I have my build-a-bear for cuddle emergencies, unless one of the ums runs off with her.

angelspassion4u -> RE: I sleep with a teddy bear (12/29/2007 8:55:48 PM)

     On the foot of my bed ,on a folded up quilt, lays my teddy bear. He was my very first ever toy given to me when I was adopted at 6 weeks of age. He has been every where when growing up.  He has always been on my bed  for the past 39 years.  He even went to the hospital when I gave birth to my sons and when I had my 2 D& C's due to miscarriages. He helped me through my separation and divorce.  He will always have an honored place on my bed no matter who is in bed with me.

DiurnalVampire -> RE: I sleep with a teddy bear (12/29/2007 9:00:36 PM)

Until the last 2 years, I slept with an Ultimate Warrior Wrestling Buddy that I had since I was 9.  My stupid Exhusband threw it under the bed one night so I wouldnt sleep with it when he was in bed with me, it got snagged on a spring and tore.
It took him ages to get forgiven for it...

I have a pair of felines that share my bed, when they deign to do so.

Unfortunately, the larger of the two snores rather loudly.

desertdancer -> RE: I sleep with a teddy bear (12/30/2007 2:51:18 AM)

Although I share a bed with Master and one really fat cat, I sleep with a stuffed bunny.  He's lost his white coat after his last bath he turned kinda grey and he had really huge sad pink eyes that just make ya wanna huggle him all up.  I will be heartbroken the day he can no longer handle bedtime cuddles.

Suleiman -> RE: I sleep with a teddy bear (12/30/2007 4:18:16 AM)

At the moment I have a bunny named Mr Stuffykins. He's an orphan. Someone abandoned him and left him on a street corner. His left leg is burnt, and he's got a tear in his foot I keep meaning to fix. I've got a boxload of others that are more or less commingled with my wife's collection. Most of mine are orphans, except for the tattered few that survived my childhood. I have a very old and threadbare tiger named (with childish creativity) "Tiger" who belonged to my sister before me. He is covered with scars. I think he's had both eyes replaced at least once. He's almost completely bald. Well, okay, there's one that I think my wife gave me for valentines' day a long while back - a big fluffy white rabbit with a red satin bow tie. She's got a stuffed Stripe doll (from "Gremlins") that she keeps in perpetual bondage (in order to keep him from wreaking havoc).

Sad thing is, neither of us does age play. Nor are we into the plush scene. We're just terribly sentimental.
