Wondering if there is much or any precedent for Straight Dom Males or Domme Females ever taking on a gay slave? How has it worked?

Welp. Im straight. well, sort of straight. mainly straight anyway. And I belonged to a gay man for a long time. Im still a member of his household and will be for life. I guess it depends on what you want out of the relationship. If its just bdsm, no sex..then theres no reason it cant work. truth is I think for me it helped. that knowledge that there was no way it ever could turn into a sexual relationship. was able to concentrate better on other aspects.

On of the previous title holders of International master and slave were a gay master and his lesbian slave. Their arrangement allowed for each to find sexual satisfaction with the appropriate sex but that did not eliminate her duties as his slave should he have wanted sexual contact with her.

For some people who follow the 24/7 or M/s dynamic, sex is not the foundation of the relationship; service and authority are and when that is the case vanilla sexual orientation becomes far less important. I consider myself part of this group and would have no problem adding a lesbian or gay man to our household if we matched on all other criteria.

I am a bi Domme, but I did have a gay slave. He was a service boy an excellent housekeeper. He had no interest in sex, nor did I at that time. He was allowed to keep a lover, which he did. I had a boyfriend as well. All of us, my significant other and his, were friends. It worked out well.

I know, or know of, at least one couple of each sexual orientation arrangement. When the orientations are mismatched, its usually a service-only, and sometimes a spiritually oriented, arrangement.

Then you'd be getting an incorrect impression. Re read TammyJo's post. She was talking about a Gay Male Master and Lesbian slave. And there are plenty other types of arrangements in the M/s community. I know of two straight male Masters who took on male slaves. The emphasis in both cases being on service. Both slaves were allowed to seek other lovers.

Back in the day in Atlanta (circa 1995, 1996 there was a Dom who identified as straight at the time that took on a full time gay male slave who was International Drummer Boy at the time) and they lasted quite a long time.

I have had power exchange and gay service slaves both male and female and had a lot of fun and you learn a lot.  I had a long term relationship with a woman who identified as a lesbian that became more than just a M/s relationship.  She never identified as bisexual and to this day still doesn't.  When we got serious and people were confused we replied that I am a pansexual male who happened to fall in love with a leatherdyke and she is a leatherdyke who happened to fall in love with a pansexual male.

thank You Mistress...yes i guess i meant it seemed from the posts that either Domme Females would take on gay subs...or Dom Males would take on lesbian slaves...but You have cleared up that misconception as You know of two Dom Straight Males taking on gay male slaves...

If you have never heard of that in NYC, then I think it may be b/c you have not ventured out too far in the community. I live in NYC, and though neither of the Masters I referred to live in NYC proper, one lives in neighboring NJ and attends many NYC events - and the other lives in the Wash DC area...both major metro areas. Thing is, a lot of times (although not all, by any means) these so-called mix-matches of sexual orientation occur in poly situations and you will find all manner of household configurations as you meet people and learn more about them.

New York and DC were the pacesetters in pansexuality especially in the 1990s so I'd be very surprised to hear that there aren't any gay and straight relationships. I knew a couple of grrls and womyn in LSM and they had male slaves but not sure if they were gay, straight or bi sexual, queer or whatever label you want to throw in.

Dear houseslave, Ladies and Gentlemen;
 
In my first Master-slave relationship, I was straight and my slave was military and closet Gay named michael.  We had a non-sexual intercourse relationship but, I think I was more sexually satisfied by other means he possessed in elevating me to where few have achieved since.  My slave was allowed sexual interactions with other Gay men, which happened to lead to the addition to the household of the second Gay male slave --making a polyandry lifestyle for me.
I was included in their love making and this is where I felt the inclusion and elevation in a more spiritual way as they loved each other deeply and beyond sexual intercourse.  As their Master, I was so loved.  It was profound, words fail to describe what I had with those two lads and had such for 9 beautiful years.  Then the military took over as their Master and the duties I had kept me from going.  That is history.
 
I have had other slaves that brought other wonderful things into the Master-slave relationship.  No slave is alike so its a fresh experience as far as I am concerned.  I also learn a lot from slaves. 
 
I really have to admit that I am sex orientation as far as slaves go--blind.  I rather judge a slave based on their spirit/soul rather than their genital's preferences for sexual gratification.  My preferences are male though until there is a lady who twirls my preferences around in a profound way.  But, as far as sex goes -- I'm not interested in participating in sexual intercourse myself.  I would just be concerned about the sexual needs/wants of my slaves.  I'm just happy having the honor of being served by slaves who enjoy serving me fully in all respects--even if I am weak and want a little bit of sexual intercourse for myself.

Also wanted to add onto what Z is saying...I'm a bi woman and I've had the pleasure of playing with straight men, bi women, and gay men... It's a fascinating world out there...somebody's got to flog `em!

And houseslave, I wouldn't use the word clueless. I think you're just lacking in exposure to the community. Where to go? Anyone with internet access can find something or somewhere kinky to do and go in NYC...I did. You can, too.

Do a google search and see what you find. Feel free to write me off board about what you've found. But only if you're serious about venturing out. If you'd really rather stay indoors and not check out the local community, don't write me saying otherwise.

I suspect that a straight male would not often play with a gay male, but I could be wrong.  Certainly in the 'real' world I think there is a big chasm between straights and gays.

I've never played with a man, but I won't say I wouldn't.  It just hasn't presented itself.  I do occasionally get 'probed' here (pun intended), but so far it just hasn't progressed to a real possibility.

I do enjoy watching gay men (and lesbians) play together.

from what i have seen that is the opposite...it is more like gay men don't want anything to do with straight men, like it might be contageous...i have also seen gay men that don't want anything to do with straight or bi women, like it might be contageous...but that is just my experience, like yours is just your experience and his is just his experience...that does not make it the rule...there are all types out there...typically people (in general, regardless of age, race, creed, religion, gender, or sexual idenity) don't get into relationships they are sexually incompatable with...so if a straight Dom were to get into a relationship with a gay slave, or gay Dom were to get into a relationship with a straight slave, that would be an exception to the rule, not the rule, but that does not mean that it does not happen or that the people that engage in such relationships are predators or unhealthy in anyway...they just think outside the box...and are probably polyamorus (or at least into open relationships) because, face it, everyone has to get their sexual needs met somewhere..
