I have recently acquired a new subbie to begin her first training in the lifestyle. I love to administer pain and she wants to test her limits and I want to try something new. I heard of the use of Ben-Gay and/or Icy-Hot applied on a woman's clitoris and that over-sitmulates the nerve endings to provide a powerful yet painful experience. Anybody try this? Pros? Cons?

As I've gotten older I use Ben Gay more and more, but she's still too young to need it. Maybe her being young is what's causing me to need more? I dunno.

why don't you try Vicks Vapo Rub on a butt plug? that sounds intriguing, as does figging. never tried Ben-Gay, but it smells awful.

i've tried it in very very small amounts and it's rocked...in a weird and wonderful way...a bit painful but nothing that can't be gotten past...after reading about it i had to and i must say it is something i would totally do again.

The first thing to do is try it on yourself to know how painful it is. Without that, you're just guessing. Plus if it is too painful to tolerate, do you know how to best remove it?

I wouldn't trust you to administer this, since you have zero experience nor are you seeking nearly enough information to be knowledgable.

I use it on myself for the purposes for which it was designed so its a totally different feeling and it washes off dulling the sensation considerably.

Also we are big into electrical play and she loves it rough yet moderately...and yes I know never to use the two together...I thought I could copy that feeling and make her feel totally controless over the situation

Ben Gay is a form of deep heat? If it is then it's a fun thing to do isn't really painful it's just a very different sort of sensation. She's bound to want to do it more than once!

Ben Gay is painful in its own way or perhaps i should say it has quite a sensation. If you would like to try something that probably isn't quite as harsh to start with, try a minty toothpaste on the clit. Just a little dab will burn and can be washed away easily if necessary.

Just make sure she doesn't have an allergic skin reaction to it.

Mucous membrans are far more sensitive than regular skin.

I have used it on myself and love it. What I do, however, is rub into my fingers and then wash my hands. The actual creme is gone, but the essence is still there and feels wonderful.

Also, try a sugar free mint like Breath Savers. They feel intense both on the clit and when inserted into the vagina. Make sure it is sugar free though, because sugar is a breeding element for yeast.

The "purposes for which it was designed" means applying it to regular skin. Try it on some mucous membranes - say, the inside of your mouth, and then let us know. And make sure you try to wash it off and let us know how that works for you as well.

I've used Vicks on nipples and clit, and she kinda liked that, but not quite the same. Close though. I planted some ginger last year, so maybe I'll have ginger root to use sometime, too ;)

OMG. When I was new and training under a mentor, he had me putting peppermint oil there. I love that stuff to this day.
One day, I picked up the wrong thing and applied it, and it was Ben Gay.
Talk about hot.
I recommend peppermint oil.

Funny isnt it...we freely use a product with the word "gay" in it.

but if we knew a person named ben who was gay... it would cause issues in some households....

I like Capsaicin This occurs naturally in chillies) and Wintergreen (which is added in small quantities apparently in lip gloss and swells the lips I don't know what these are marketed as in the US.
I use both both a pain relief (where there is joint pain) and stimulation where there is not.
It is absolutely necessary to use latex glives and a timy amount especially near the labia or clit. Tolerance does take place and trying to wash either off only makes the heat/pain more intense.
A definite torture from granny's medicine chest.

When I was apprenticing with a dom/sub couple I used wasabi paste in multiple sadistic forms. I dont like using food based items for torture the first time out. I believe that takes time and trust to work into. I like to have my subs/slaves knowing whats going on/in them that has a distinct purpose like an icy-hot, ben gay thats designed to produce that burning, tingling sensation cause its fun to watch them squirm and the lubes made for sensation just dont do it for me. But I love the toothpaste idea...Maybe using a medicine dropper of listerine too??
