look- if they cant even get busses running what type of sytem would this be. recall they were rationing life at Childrens Hospital. ie- letting people die faster... what an asineine idea

The computer isnt god- it isnt always right. Last week the grocery store closed cos someone hit a eletric pole. so you cant buy a loaf a bread....

Anyone without a band thingie wont be allowed on?
would be interesting to see how fast they can put people on the buses in an emergency

I noticed the mention of bracelets for eldery montiring. I dont know about that. It seems a slipper slope before we are all chipped. One day we all will be chipped. in a way the soc sec number and date of birth are now doing do. I was lookking for my brothers address online. Well 5 of his prior adresses came up- as well as the year of his birth- instantly. Most theinfo was old- but accurate. Just outdated.

So - what is criminal? At one time an infraction 7 yrs old dropped off the reocrd- it doesnt seem to anymore. Then on expungement- if one source expunges but another doesnt- the system re-finds the data and it re-appears. add to that alot of data mining services.

OK lets just let anyone on the bus with the vulnerable, unaccompanied children, elderly, let them fend for themselves on a 5 hour bus ride with sex offenders.

If it's not perfect lets just do nothing.

Well, first off, I don't buy "Unaccompanied Children" for a second. You know what happens when you have "Unaccompanied Children" in a situation like that? You arrest the parents for child abandonment. And when Children are taught to kill their attackers ( Hansel und Gretel? ) it's a non-issue even if they DO wander into the forest and blaze a trail with breadcrumbs... ( Should have blazed it on the trees instead, was their major problem... )

But I digress...

We could just out law hurricanes. And disasters.

The system is right- the peon is wrong. The computer is god- the computer controls humans. Someone hits a pole, and I cant buy groceries. One needs food. Why havent these flaws been fixed?
We have had many years to know we need power. Wouldnt the stockholders be mad is shoppers can not make a purchase?

I dont know about you- but most adults I know have a record of some sort. If one is alive- and been here 40 years- more have a record then not. It may be the flavor of the day icky crime- or a petty crime.

As FB said- we are all molesters until proven otherwise.

Did you read the part that said the armbands were optional ?

Did you see where they simply said the criminal segrigation was limited to Sex Offenders, Parolees, and those with outstanding warrants?

-people slept 6 dayy on an Interstate highway. We seen how the regular plan has worked.

Luckliy I live in an area that doesnt have disasters often. From what I see- I doubt I would evacuate. Per haps better engineering of the infastruture would be better then these social experiments. In katrina we seen the ugly side of America. Unfortunately the poverty and neglect there - is in many urban areas- and rural areas. The downtroddin get no voice- no seat at the table.

Disaster plans are public. Anyone can participate in their counties planing. Simply call your local red cross and tell them you wish to be on the disaster committee.

The more involved the better.

Maybe a return to locally based Civil Defense would work better than this FEMA wet-dream for AT&T project. It's good for AT&T, and perhaps, on paper can provide "some" benefits..

Hey, here's an idea. Why doesn't AT&T instead of a RFID chip, give you a CELLPHONE when they take your name. That way, people looking for you can CALL AT&T INFORMATION and get your temporary AT&T Wireless number?

Now *that* would be *more* useful than just 'bagging and tagging'.

In fact, you could do *that* registration when you're ON THE BUS, instead of lining up behind the chain link fence in the rain waiting to be approved for access to a bus.

When the fires happened this last time in Cal- many werent allowed back into their homes. -hello- who pays the note ON THE HOME!
