Alot of the BO thing is due to diet and your personal type of body chemistry. I for one can go days on end and not hear anything about it, weeks would be pushing it, but I do know people who literally need two showers a day or they reek, and bad. Then there is a case of a person called stinky. A Black Woman in her thirties, and while I can't smell her, a couple of people say she stinks. I honestly do not smell it. But in a conversation about her it was said that she smaells like that stepping out of the shower. It is something about her body chemistry. Nobody picks on her, well, for one she is the boss's pimp. Yes he is a hound and she would go "procure" for him, hookers without this anamoly of course. Another related thing to this is bad breath. Some people can do for a week without brushing their teeth and not have bad breath, others can brush four times a day and run you right out of the room. Let's face it, some dogs do not have bad breath. And it's not even because there is no tooth decay, because some do have it, but for some reason people can get horrible breath. And I don't even mean garlic breath. Then some people actually smell like garlic after eating it. I could actually eat several cloves and only smell like it in the breath for a few hours. Others seem to sweat it out of every pore. And it does not smell as good coming out as it did going in. And there are people who almost never use soap. My buddy Jim said if you take a shower every day you don't need soap every time, and he never stunk that I noticed. But then my buddy Ron, if he doesn't get a shower after work you can smell him. It's the body chemistry and diet. I hate to hijack like this, but it is a valid point. Who remembers the old days ? Seen cartoons where the character somehow lands in a bathtub and says "What ? It ain't Saturday night !". Yup that's how it was a scant few decades ago. But I think two things have changed. One is that back then everybody just bathed on Saturday, and if everybody got a bit gamey by Friday the others did not notice. Another factor is that our diet has changed considerably. And on the whole people are less healthy now. So I think a logical conclusion is that what is killing us is what makes us stink. I'll have to reserve judgement on garlic though, I believe it is good for you. But then if you excrete it in sweat, what good is it doing you ? Different body chemistry, maybe these people don't need the garlic. To finish the hijack, sorry, I believe that we have vastly varying types of body chemistries, and maedical science treats everyone the same. That is a mistake. I had a buddy who said he could smell the difference in people. I mean he said "Different kinds of people have a different smell", which was to imply he could smell the difference between a Black, Hispanic, American Native, Oriental etc. This guy was pretty level headed and I believed him, but I never had that acute of an olfactory sense. We now return to the normally scheduled program, already in progress. T
