I agree with Nader on Edwards.
Edwards is definately the most "progressive" Candidate!

Sanity -> RE: Nader on Edwards (12/19/2007 7:11:29 PM)

Is anyone out there still trying to claim that Chris Mathews (who is a former Jimmy Carter speech writer) isn't a far left socialist "progressive"?

How can you deny it now...

From pahunkboy's link:

quote:

ORIGINAL: Chris Matthews

"One of my heroes, Ralph Nader," concluded Matthews.

My dick gets hard whenever I hear Edwards boast how he'll let the populace buy into medicare as a whole, and it'll crush all the HMO's.

But on the other side of that equation, I just can't seem to fully trust an attorney with a populist message who likes four-hundred-dollar hair cuts and strong-arm attempts-- using his staffer's--- to bully Wal-Mart into letting him acquire an X-box for his children after the rest of the customers who want them have to stand in a cold-ass line all night.

Hell....My father and every one of his weekly golf buddies have a greater net worth than Edwards, yet you'd have to cut their throats before they'd give up more than twenty-five bucks for a hair cut.

I'll take a pass on politicians who preach the ''poor message'' but spend extravagantly.

Sad, I oftenthink about how different things may have turned out if Nader did not throw his hat into recent elections and steal votes away. I am glad we live in such a great country that allows him to run, hindsight is always 20/20 but I think Nader has harmed this country far more than he ever helped it. Edwards aside I am desperately seeking a candidate that has viable, solutions that actually could prove to be viable and actionable. I will keep searching , have a great day !

You cant really say that Gore would have won though....

Remember that Nader brought people to the polls that probably would have stayed home anyway. The people that voted for him also did not like Gore....it was unlikely most of those Nader votes would have went to Gore.

Oh that's BS cyberdude! Remember how they had to recount friggin' chads for weeks on end just to get close enough that a Republican Supreme Court justice had to call the race for... (surprise!) the Republican?

Nader insured that Bush the retard got in. Cheany's been running the country for the Saudis ever since.
