I've had ulnar nerve relocation surgery and rotator cuff surgery. Both within 4 months of each other. The operations themselves went well; did the physical therapy and now have 70% use of both arms. Considering how much pain I was in prior to the operations and how I feel now, the surgery was worth it. Find a good orthopedic surgeon if you don't already have one. Do the physical therapy as already suggested and figure it will take at least a year of therapy. That was the hardest part for me. Not just the pain of working the areas that were operated on, but the discipline necessary to keep up with it at home and at the facilities. Many times I just wanted to quit - if I had, I probably would only have about 30% usage of my arms. Good luck.
