Dan and others, immortalized by their music do not die. But the process of fading away has started. I am not being cynical or sarcastic. You got a public forum talking about you when you are dead. I seek something like that. I was not a big "fan" of Fogelberg's, but I liked what I heard. If you re a fan, know this. The existence of this thread has immotalized him further in two ways. First of he is mentioned in public, and second of all I am off to P2P to download some, because I don't have any Fogelberg in my otherwise extensive collection. His music will, as a result, be heard by more people. Unfortunately he is not around to see me rip off his former bosses who ripped him off. By that I mean OK artists do get rich, but the suits get richer. "If there's a rock and roll heaven, you know they got a hell of a band". Bet they do. Oh boy, Bearshare has 200 some entries at 45% search completed. OK thirteen of these look right, and they're all blown off right now. Probably quite a demand. Because P2P uses your PC, there are limitations. The demand is probably high right now. Same thing happened when Johnny Cash died, but I got in real fast got a couple tunes. Whatever didn't complete in the first hour took a week, and I got highspeed. I wonder for you and I, If on the day we die, One will tell the forum, So the rest may laugh or cry, Or possibly wonder why. Which brings up an interesting point. Off to start a thread. T PS In the time it took to type this I got eight tunes. Going to turn the amp on now, your guy is immortalized. All I can say is Bearshare rocks. Now I am off to hear some music I haven't heard in a hell of a long time. Now that the guy is immortal I am sure it will sound better right ? Be well. T
