Sex with robots is, more or less, masturbation. They're just going to be sex toys until psuedointelligence comes along. One thing that continaully strikes me as obnixous, though. Everyone seems to have it in their head this utterly silly notion that an intelligent robot will have human-like intelligence, perhaps a bit more or less (being somewhere between retarded to brilliant, by human terms). What the hell makes anyone think that? They may be inferior, mentally, for a year or two after invention while they're in their formative stages. After that, it's likely that they'll far surpass us to the point that their actions will, by our feeble understandings, appear to be acts of chaos. (You know, sort of like how those of you with pets probably wonder why you seem so obsessed with tapping your fingers against the keyboard, staring intently at it instead of doing something else. They just can't understand your reasonings.) It may seem like a skew rant, but I have reason. My point is that, once "AI" is invented and has a year or two to mature- before a true human-robotic relationship would have a chance to even occur.. they'd see humans as mundane creatures. Not to mention that they would, inniately, not have any foreseeable predisposition for sexual attraction in the first place (unless explicitly designed, but, even then...). Or, bottom line being.. human/robotic marriages are a moot point. There will be miniscule, transcient possiblities before such things are a historic issue. (Likely for virtual scanners of future robots when studying their orgins, at the end of the human era.)
