To many times we come across people in the lifestyle who are not what they seem.
They are filled with agendas and are most of the time hidden until you have wasted lots of time and money. If your to seek that others where do you have the best chance and luck for a good match. Not most are going to say their are no grantees anywhere which is true. So to all those out there who have slaved through the pool of never ending people. where did you find the best luck for your other and not some lusting sex crazed predator

Such people are not restricted to Collarme, LB. People need to make healthier choices in their lives, too many people act on impulse instead of taking their time to get to know someone new. When someone seems to fulfil all the personal criteria we seek in others often we tend to watch our common sense go out of the window as we avidly seek to devour the breath of newness that has dawned on us. I have made some very poor choices in the past, and then spent invaluable time licking my self-inflicted wounds caused by my rashness to devour someone. Had I waited my time, explored every aspect of their life I would have gained the insights I wanted... however, I was too impetuous to wait and repented at leisure. We can play the victim til we choke on the delusional bullshit we feed ourselves, there's only one way to rectify it and that's to learn to make healthier choices. And remember, only we give others power over our lives.

Seriously, people in general have thier own agendas, and often in this lifestyle people are not what they appear to be at time.

Same shit happens in the places people work, in churches, anywhere and everywhere.

It may be true that some will find what they're looking for online, but there's a whole world out there, and guess what....it's got people in it-short people, tall people, fat people, thin people, you name it. So My advice is go out and explore.

Someone on here said to Me (sorry, can't remember the exact quote) "you never know who you'll meet once you're comfortable with who you are", your ideal partner might be just a few doors away but until you show yourself to them as you really are they won't recognise the qualities you have that make Y/you compatable to each other.

The best luck has always been taking a thoughtful considered approach with those that I am considering becoming involved with. Reckless choices tend to increase the risk to negative consequences.

I met my Daddy on alt. That will be two years ago in March. Now we have had our ups and downs in that time because of the distance and issues surrounding that, but we are still a good match.

There are no hidden agendas with either of us at least...

I have encountered those like you speak of, but that is not a lifestyle thing, that is a human thing... sometimes those with issues get involved in WIITWD, but there are a lot of vanillas that have issues too.

I had a message board on MSN. I met a lot of people there.
One day, he stumbled onto my group. I checked his profile and noticed he was in the next town.
So, I sent him an email and invited him to a munch.
The rest was history.
I was a sub at the time until I walked into his playroom. It did not take me long to realize I was home.
I have met a few weirdos too, but it is part of life.

By taking the time to put into my profile what I truly want and desire, I am able to attract at least some people who are interested in the same things that I am. By only writing to others who appear to have taken the time to write thorough profiles, I am more likely to find people into the same things that I am, particularly if what they have written is compatible with me.

I've had one major life altering disaster, and learned a lot from it. I have avoided many more by being alert and sensible.
