Someone blocked me for no reason of which I'm aware.  (I'm still on his favorites list.)  I have his phone number, but don't want to harass him.  We haven't met--were planning on it next weekend, but I was enjoying his conversations.

Is there any chance it was an accident?  Or should I just get a life?

Ive been favorited, and blocked, by a couple people in the past.  I just ignore it.  Give him a few days, and if he doesnt come around, move on.

Ron is right (of course).  Could likely have been an accident.

Could also be that he doesn't understand how the block works.  On some sites, it makes YOU invisible (think instant messenger).  On this site, it makes the other person invisible.  So if I block you, I just don't see you.  So if I wanted to pop on real quick, read messages, and not be bothered by anyone, then it would be logical to block the faves people.  But as I said, the block on this site doesn't work that way.

I say track him down like a dog, light his roses and evergreen trees on fire (first call the local news media), slash his tires and then....after all that, send a nasty letter (overnight, acceptance signature required) to his Mother informing her that he doesn't put his socks away in a neat and orderly fashion and that you suspect early childhood trauma to be the cause.

Now you are giving me some ideas.
Why don't I use that darn block feature more often?

Even if an accident, then the person would realize it after a few days/attempts to contact you, and "unblock" you, i would suspect?
As for me so far, i have blocked some people, but never by accident:) - just spammers.

It could definitely be by accident, so unless anything has happened to make you think they don't want to speak with you just give them a quick call.

I've found that mozilla based browsers do not tend to work well with CollarMe.  Sometimes they're fine, sometimes they're not.  I once had a ton of people on block for I don't know how many months because I was using Firefox and CollarMe was putting every profile I looked at on block.  I caught it only by chance when looking at a profile of someone I knew I had no reason to be blocking and saw that they were... then I looked at my blocked users list and saw page after page of people I'd not intentionally blocked.

Then you just throw in mis-clicking now and then, and sure, you could be blocked by accident.

Hey, at worst you call  and ask and they reply that "Yeah, it was on purpose".  At least you'll know.

Between carpal tunnel and a iffy computer- as it turned out- a friend I talk to via phone said I blocked her. When I went to unblock her- I discoverred a whole list of people I blocked. I seldom block anyone. It sure made me feel like 2 inches tall that I blocked her. It could have soured the friendship.

It was my own fault for not paying attetion to it tho.

Call, you have nothing to lose and everything to gain. If he blocked you by accident he will be relieved and grateful you called. If he blocked you on purpose he will more than likely hang up on you - in that case you will know.
