What is with all the motel room photos? 95% of pics I view on here are obviously made in a motel room. Either that or a lot of people like that style for their bedroom lol Just an observation made on my part, and I was wondering if anyone else had noticed.

Everybody has to take a stupid bathroom picture too, what's up with that? I'm sure nobody wants to see me standing on my toliet and taking a picture of myself in the bathroom mirror.

No offense to the six billion of you that have them...it's just odd to me. :-p

I am one of the guilty ones with a motel pic LOL which happened to be taken while away on a 3 day business trip. Somehow would rather see that than a cropped wedding picture like you see on some other sites

Now a cropped wedding ...bathroom picture.... obviously made in a motel room....... well perhaps not... that may be even too twisted for me...

I’ve been working on this new groundbreaking technology that calculates the probable location of pixels outside of the original shot and their tone from shadows within the image. I must say what mighty fine thighs you have there.

I'm also working on X-Ray specs that don't make people look like walking skeletons.

LOL, some possibly only get to play away from home, so go to hotels, where they do not have to look their neighbors in the face the next day after making a lot of noise????? Some also(I'm pretty sure) are with play partners, so again, they meet away from each others homes...... the bathroom ones mean they dont have anyone to take their pics, although some could definitely work on reducing that flash circle, and find an angle without the commode in the background, or bunch o shit on the counter, etc.

Confession Time

Before I was owned by a woman with a seemingly God-given gift for photography, I only had one picture to my name online. This was the first picture she saw a few minutes after meeting me. This picture...

Was taken...

In my bathroom. Yup, the lighting was the only part of my entire house that would work with the stupid camera. :-p

But, to defend myself, you couldn't TELL it was in a bathroom. If you must take a bathroom picture, then please don't let me see your commode, please?

The ones I don't "get" are the folks who post a negative image of themselves... What, you don't think we can flip the image in our photoshop? Same with swirl, or other distortions...

Look, you are either willing to let folks see what you look like, or you're hiding. (Which means to me that you may not be trustworthy) Which is it gonna be?

Mine was taken in front of a Bacardi distillery in Puerto Rico. I haven't noticed a preponderance of photos taken in hotel rooms, though I could see the value in the anonymity they provide. Also consider that people staying in hotels are likely on trips, and trips are a common time to take photos. Though one has to ponder the irony of someone without a photo up critiquing the photo choices of others...

Actually, I wasn't kidding. That is where the photo was taken, but it is so tightly cropped that one can't tell.
