grlneedstolearn -> hearing your restraints at night (12/8/2007 10:34:44 AM)

As i was falling asleep last night i couldn't help by wonder how many of you enjoy hearing your restraints "clinking" or rubbing against each other while you fall asleep. Is it a soothing sound and makes you feel secure? Or is an annoyance? i know that when i cuff my wrists restraints together at night, they are a red and black leather with a snap hook inbetween each cuff, that i tend to fall asleep a lot quicker than without them.
   Thank you

Do you sleep walk and hurt yourself?...Is that why you are restrained to the bed?

as with everything in this lifestyle i felt differnt about it differennt times...sometime it was reassuring wrm and fuzzy, sometimes i hated to wake him up just to go to the bathroom, sometimes it drove me nuts because i am an early riser and he is not, sometimes it made me feel like the uber obediant slave, sometimes it made me feel sexy being a sex slave chained to the bed,  sometimes it made me feel like a slave propetry, chattle., and sometimes it made me feel stupid for being a grown woman chained to a bed.

what i liked about it was it was yet another way to explore my psyche....and i learnd alot

Most people prefer the contrast of the howling wind outside with the warmth they feel inside. Just be careful your bits don’t drop off due to poor circulation because people tend to move about a lot in their sleep regardless of whether or not there is something stopping them from doing so.[8|]

I feel like the Health and Safety police now, damn it! I never wanted to be them.

Naw, i don't sleep walk but i do toss and turn a lot, especially if i'm dreaming about whatever. i just makes me feel secure and cozy.

Ahh gotcha...well then...if this is similar...i like hearing the noise my collar makes at night when I toss and turn in bed [:)]

No worries. i can slip at least 2-3 fingers between the cuffs and my skin.

juliaoceania -> RE: hearing your restraints at night (12/8/2007 11:31:42 AM)

It reminds me that I wear my cuffs to bed because he ordered it, this lets me know I am owned. I feel owned when I hear them clink

sambamanslilgirl -> RE: hearing your restraints at night (12/8/2007 11:38:00 AM)

i enjoy wearing my leather collar and leash to bed every night ...it's my security blanket to send me to a peaceful sleep.

SirMichealspeach -> RE: hearing your restraints at night (12/8/2007 11:41:12 AM)

I do not wear wrist restraints to bed, but i do wear and ankle restraint that is locked to a chain that is locked to the bed. i have enough chainto get to the bathroom. I have learned to take my pop and cigarettes with me to bed now (lol). I do have access to the key because i am and early riser also. He has allowed me to unlock myself @6am. if i need to unlock befroe that time i must wake Him. I do enjoy hearing the chain rattle when i move and also like the  weight of it. i just had to spend a week away from home because of a death in the family and i felt really weird without it and didin't sleep well either

I have a teddy bear that Daddy bought me, but it wasn't really for the me I am now... I have now laid claim to the teddy bear so it has become my security blanket you could say...

velvetears -> RE: hearing your restraints at night (12/8/2007 12:18:18 PM)

i cannot sleep restricted... too much physical pain.... restriction coupled with insomnia and other sleep issues i would never get a wink [sm=goodnight.gif]

grlneedstolearn -> RE: hearing your restraints at night (12/8/2007 12:58:03 PM)

velvetears, i used to be that way until i started sleeping with my cuffs on. But even now i'll wake in the middle of the night for no reason and have a hard time getting back to sleep.

AquaticSub -> RE: hearing your restraints at night (12/8/2007 1:31:59 PM)

I'm guessing they would keep me awake at night. I need things really quiet to sleep.

missturbation -> RE: hearing your restraints at night (12/8/2007 1:57:09 PM)

The only time i sleep collared and cuffed is when i visit Sir or He visits me. I have the best nights sleep ever when i am chained to the floor by His bed. I feel safe, secure, cared for and His when i am at His feet rattling lol.
The clinks and clanks dont really register with me but i know they wake Sir up occasionally. I am a bit of a wriggly sleeper.

proudsub -> RE: hearing your restraints at night (12/8/2007 2:56:38 PM)

The closest i've come to being restrained at night is having that damn wedge pillow strapped between my legs for the first two weeks after my hip surgery.  Talk about uncomfortable.  I still have to use a pillow between my legs when i sleep in my side but that's tolerable. [:'(]

charlotte12 -> RE: hearing your restraints at night (12/8/2007 3:54:35 PM)

It makes me feel happy and content and owned. I especially like waking up in the middle of the night while cuffed or chained and having to adjust but feeling the restraints...mmm. I don't get a waking moment to forget that i'm owned. [:D]

heh.  i have a vampire bat stuffie that Daddy bought me, the teddy bear my otherlove sent for my b-day, the blanket Fallcon had at the hospital, and a bear my first dominant gave me.  wolf asked me one time "are you ever gonna grow up?"

my answer was "nope.  good thing its a king-sized bed, isnt it?"  (of course the penguin HE gave me is the biggest stuffie on the bed!!!)

kitten, grinning.  (and i often wake up, turn over, and make sure my collar is on...touching the little heart dangling off it reminds me i'm loved)

Same here.
quote:

I don't.  I have to go down the hall to the bathroom so, when I must go, I gently wake Master and He unlocks me so I can go.  When I return, He locks me back up.  Before we lived together, I used to be up and down all night peeing.  Now, it's usually once toward early morning.  I think I've kind of mentally trained myself because I still feel badly about having to awaken Him.  He insists and He wants me to.  He goes right back to sleep but it still feels like I'm being bothersome.  He won't have it any other way, so that's how it's done.[:)]
quote:

I have learned to take my pop and cigarettes with me to bed now

I don't smoke but I do make sure the things I need are close by (book, drink, cell phone, etc.)
quote:

The keys are kept around His neck and He never takes them off.  I have to wake Him up regardless of the time.

I don't sleep as well either when I've had to briefly be away.  It just feels so natural now.  I also like the sound and the ample weight of the chain but, man, does it feel icy cold sometimes[image]http://www.collarchat.com/micons/m28.gif[/image].........luci

dawndewdropbaby -> RE: hearing your restraints at night (12/8/2007 5:41:22 PM)

I know that I couldn't sleep restrained, my back is screwed up so I spend at least 30 minutes in bed tossing and turning beforehand finding the right spot.
