if anyone knows how to retrieve deleted files such as pictures. i am running windows xp home edition. please contact me mail or yahoo messanger.

I'm guessing not.  She's probably hoping to find porn on a lover's or UM's computer via digging up a file that's been deleted but not written over.

If deleted from your trash bin, you may find them in your registry files, but then you have to be careful about messing around with registry files.

Recovering deleted (actually deleted, not just 'recycled') files isn't for the faint of heart.

Lots of free software on the market, but unless you're comfortable with terms like sectors, tracks, and file table, I wouldn't bother trying.
