Huh! I knew I couldn't put anything hardcore out there, but somehow missed these rules. Just accidentally behaved myself I guess because I used to have about 10 photos out there and never had a problem getting them approved. I recently submitted a picture that was taken at my annual Halloween party and was fairly certain it wouldn't be approved, but didn't know how to contact the moderators to ask. Just leaves one option: post it and wait on the answer. It was denied. Oh well.
Also got in trouble for posting something under the wrong category. I think they ended up pulling the whole thing fairly quickly. My bad. If you're gonna post on their site, you gotta follow their rules. Sometimes it takes a while to learn them though. And then again, I think there are multiple people approving things (especially pics) on the site (as someone else mentioned) and they may not all have exactly the same standards.
I only have one picture of myself on my profile right now (the dungeon on the secondary pictures) because of all the complaints that my pictures were old after only a year or so after posting them. It was a professional shoot done by a friend so out of spite (I'll admit it), I pulled all but one of them. Nothing to complain about now!
