They probably rehearse these questions before they go live, shock horror it’s not spontaneous. I knew that anyway because the people look far to comfortable both the people asking the questions and the people responding. You could ask how the person with the mic knows where to go and who to ask; she has rehearsed it with them all before hand and they have each said slightly different things. On one occasion she has mentioned her activities but on the live Q&A session she didn’t. I also expect the people answering the questions have been given a list to check so they know who is going to be asking questions. It’s not like this when I watch Question time in the UK because on that programme people struggle to get out their question and the politicians struggle to answer them. You still write in with the question you want to ask but no list of questions is given to the people answering. On PMQT the PM knows what he is going to be asked because it’s about answers and he has to be given time to do the research into the questions. To expect someone to come up with facts and figures on the spot is unrealistic. So people aren’t so concerned with the performance of the politician but the answers they give in that situation.
