Just saw an article on CNN about people donating toys to charities for Christmas. The Salvation Army said that if you donate toys that were made in China leave them unwrapped because they need to inspect them for lead paint poisoning. Lead paint poisoning! Sheesh! Why would they accept any toys from China anyway if they're all "suspect" now? Couldn't they just say, "Please, if you care to donate toys don't donate toys that have "Made in China" stamped on them." Or maybe, "in lieu of donating toys made in China consider a cash donation instead." They can do a lot more with cash donations anyway. Every Christmas I buy toys and donate them to the Salvation Army and The Hibernians fund for underpriviledged children. I don't want to take any chances so this year I'm making cash donations so that they can better choose things for the kids!
