Is it just me or does anyone else feel like we don't have a president?
He keeps feeding the war machine and big corporations have never made so much money but domestic problems garner no attention.

Popeye-= anger and rage isnt enough. I know full well what you say.  the average joe is too tired trying to put food on the table- also- fear of reprisals too.

If you can skin the cat here- I and many are listening. Whats the plan?
Anyone!  Whats the plan?

Really?

The social engineers have made sure that every prisoner gets food, clothing, lodging and health care - FREE. Any other US citizen have the same "right" or entitlement?

A good retirement plan would be to rob a bank at 65. As a first time offender in Federal Prison you would have a better life than many who are Corporately 'down-sized' or have lost their jobs to people willing to do it at below market rates.

As it has recently come to my attention, the statement “We the people, for the people” is very accurate when looked at in a realistic manner. The problem is, the majority of the average USA citizens have yet to realize they are not one of “the people”.

Government= The control of the mind

For some - prison is nice. I personally would never risk going there. I know huys who were in- it is no picnic.

PaHunk, well ideally we get 30 million heavily armed citizens to encircle Washington.
Funny, no mention of Bin Laden, al qeada or Pakistan in that legislation in the article!
Isn't that what we should really be focusing on?
Six years now and Bin Laden is still alive?
We should be focusing on Pakistan instead of Iran.
Close embasseys, cut communications, stop this "foreign aid" nonsense! They either give him and al qeada up or we start indiscriminate bombing.
Like I've said before, Bush has no balls!
All hat no cattle.

What really bothers me is that our rights are being taken away in stages.   Anytime there is a calamity it seems they dconvince us that we need it them taken away and i have no idea why but we agree?   Its a shame because people feel trapped with no way out.  The middle class is afraid to speak out because they do not want to lose what they have or from fear of reprisal.  The older people just snarl and say things like "well I am glad I dont have long to sbe here anymore", and the young talk about it but really dont have a clue how to do anything about it.

Whats really bad is that most americans do not have the internet and that is the onlyu place you get more than one version of anything.   The media spoonfeeds the masses and when I show people whats on the net they and what they are missing they literally go ballistic. (and you can see the fear in their eyes)  Not much of a way to live imo.

I took the first step in trying to fire Washington by voting for Independents and Third Party only. When more Americans follow my lead, I think the same old Dems and Reps will start to think again.

Realone, most people don't have a computer?
I didn't know that.
My nephew and neice and all their friends have computers.
Maybe Jerry Lewis could have another Telethon.

Well I know here when the citizens learned the cities animal control was shooting pets in the head as a means of putting them done and the city figureheads responded in the newspaper saying they felt is was an acceptable manner in which to euthanize unwanted animals, the citizens were outraged over the matter and felt it was worth the few cents more to euthanize by means of chemical injection, the city officials did not want to budge on the matter.  They sure changed their mind in a huge hurry when many of the citizens started saying they would therefore stop paying their municipal taxes until the city made changes  to ensure that unwanted pets were destroyed humanely and made sure an article appeared in the newspaper to encourage others to stop paying their taxes as well.

proof that money still speaks louder than words
