So I'm not sure if this is not as unusal as I feel it is or what. But I totally need to figure a way past it. Umm soo I like pain...yay...I get all into and turned on and blah blah blah until my ass starts to get beat. At which time I start giggeling like a freaking teenage girl with her first crush! Giggeling. How stupid is that? Anyway, I tried biting my lip, and buring my face, and nothing. I refuse to be graced with the nickname of "giggle butt". shrugs I think I should put that on my hard limit list....NON NEGOTIABLE! So has anyone else expierenced this idiocy? Any advice on how to stop or control it?

Believe it or not, this is NOT that uncommon. <smile> I know of several submissive/slave/bottoms who giggle and some even full out laugh when they start receiving pain. It is just the way they process it. I wouldn't worry about it.... just warn your play partner ahead of time so they know.

YES oh that is me, but for me it when I am bound, totally helpless and I just know Sir is about to do something completely wicked I will just start giggling, it is nuts but completely involuntry.

I think a Ball Gag should do the trick. It's kind of hard to giggle with things like that in your mouth.

i cant do a ball gag thanks to TMJ. but even when i stuffed a sheet in my mouth......he still knew i was giggeling.....implied that i thought he wasnt striking me hard enough....uh huh i was sooooo not thinking that! lol. as for contacting my partner.....well looking at the ummm helpful aide being offered id have to say about now.....maybe not being collared is a good thing:)

fast reply Part of the giggle response is because of adrenaline which turns off higher brain function. It is something that you can eventually learn to turn off, but hopefully your dominant person understands that it is not because he isn't hitting you hard enough that you giggle, it is all the chemicals flooding your brain and that is the way you are emotionally dealing with what he does with you... It is BECAUSE he is hitting you hard enough that he is getting that response... I hope he reads this thread...

I laugh when we play. I usually laugh when i'm having fun. It doesn't bother Sir at all so i see no need to stop it. I don't think you need to find a way to stop it unless it bothers your Top.

i do this myself too!! With new partners i will warn them always as some people will have that response thinking i'm laughing at THEM. this can't be further from the truth. usually it's nervous energy at first and laughter is my knee jerk response but even in a committed relatioship the giggles are there. it can be a problem only if you and your partner let it. but hey just tell him that you laugh when you are enjoying yourself!!! sure he'd like that! i usually laugh until subspace and then become non verbal at that point.. but why do something if you aren't enjoying it?? and laughter is fun.. sooooo why not laugh? i did once warn someone about my laughing etc and told him it is not a challenge it's just the way i am, please don't take it as you're doing anything lightly or wrong. after that we both enjoyed the laughing. play is fun.. go with it!! colleen
