There are members whose posts have included racial slurs -- some used to discuss a subject, some used in a derogatory way.  i asked in another Op whether such language should be moderated and after reading the responses i have to say i agree with those who come down on the side of free speech.
 
i am not aware of any member who habitually uses racial slurs, but if you come across one, just block their posts.  i sympathise with what you've said but i have come to see that censorship is not the answer.

 Seeing as I was the first to reply, I am offended. Seriously I am. How dare you call me a hate monger?  Never mind your instructions on telling people how to think. Calling ME a hate monger is rude, unkind and ohboy is it ever untrue.People often tell me that I need a thicker skin here on CM, I guess they are right because that really upset me. I had no idea that anyone, anyone would see my text and consider me someone that hates or promotes hate. You have just accomplished what you rail against. Does it feel good??

Does anyone have any idea what the hell these racial slur posts are about?  I would be the first to flame if I had any idea what they are talking about.  Other than the bounty hunter one, which I did respond to I'm not aware of any.  I don't read the poltiical ramblings however as I find them oddly placed here.  If I wanted to argue politics I would go to a political site.
