Holy shit, I thought this early 20th century vampire story would be completly forgotten by now.

But what do you know? It's now a movie.

I have the book in my vampire collection but it's been a while since I've read it. Who has thoughts on how a modern day movie version of this tale will turn out?

This movie is the third incarnation of the book.  The Last Man on Earth(?) with Vincent Price was the first, The Omega Man (1971) and now the Will Smith version.

Some people at imdb.com have apparently seen rough cuts/ private screenings and have given it good reviews.

I look forward to going to see it in theaters.
