Gee, how courageous of her!
Now that Prince Eliot has backed away from his driver's liscenses for illegal aliens proposal due to *overwhelming* opposition from all segments of society Hillary can all of a sudden find her voice!
Senator Abbadabba really slammed her in the above article!
And she didn't even use the correct term of "illegal aliens."
She has her own term for that, Bless her heart!
She also says she's for "comprehensive immigration reform" going against only some of the more than 90% of the American People who broke the Senate phone system in June.
She wants to go against the wishes of more than 90% of the American People and she thinks she has a chance of winning?
Who is her campaign manager?

It's no conspiracy, the elections aren't rigged - their candidates just suck!

Status: offline 		I am a conservative, so this is just not some neo-socialist saying it. The past two elections have had some severe irregularities that need to be fixed. If they were in fact tampering, there is no concrete evidence, but there were definately things that occured that do not have good explanations. This happens on both sides of the fence though. the election process does need to be improved, with more transparency of vote counting.

Now as to Hillary, I guess the poll that showed a high 90% of Americans were opposed to giving illegal immigrants the privilege of drivers licenses, likely influenced her decision. She does have a pretty well managed campaign, which means she will manage the people just as effectively, if she were President. This would mean not standing on her personal principles, but saying what is necessary to keep people happy, while doing different things behind closed doors, with plausable deniability. SOP for most politcians these days.

They do suck, they're terrible!
They're like the Democratic version of Bush!
I want a President who works for this country and doesn't stick his nose in other countrie's business or problems.
If Hillary were to get in she'd be talking about aids orphans in Africa not about securing our borders or getting us out of these lousey "trade" deals.

Status: offline 		Well notice she said she doesn't support giving illegal aliens drivers licenses... but in the same statement she says she supports the failed Senate bill called "Comprehensive Immigration Reform." Which means she favors giving amnesty.... that way they are made legal and can get licenses anyway.

So really she is only confirming what she said originally....she wants them to have lincenses.

Status: offline 		One thing i wondered is whether the proposal included allowing illegal aliens to attain commercial licenses and drive big rigs as well as limosines and so forth.  Didn't make me happy to think the guy next to me at 70 mph was driving an 18 wheeler for low wages and replacing an American trucker (who around here are bad enough).
 
Supposedly there are 11 million illegal aliens in the US at this time; are we saying none of them drive without a license?  i am poor but i keep "uninsured motorist" coverage on my policy because from what i gather, 1 in 3 drivers here has no insurance and no license.

I agree too!
We have to have *clean* elections! I don't know anyone who would be against that!
The problem in N.Y. is that when you get a driver's liscense they also register you to vote!
Prince Eliot already gave driver's liscenses to 23,000 illegal aliens according to the Lou Dobbs Show!
BIG problem!
For an illegal alien to even attempt to vote is a deportable federal felony.
Surely Prince Eliot will now cancel the drivers liscenses of those 23,000 illegal aliens.
It's funny when elected officials say that they "don't enforce federal law."
Bank Robbery is a federal crime because they're insured by the FDIC and every time a bank is robbed the local and state police show up.
Are they *now* going to tell local and state police agencies to no longer respond to bank robberies?
Politicians had better get rid of their own "agendas" and start enforcing The People's "Agendas" and start enforcing the laws on the books.
I want someone in the WhiteHouse who is going to *Serve* The People not try and *Dictate* to The People!

My "conspiracy theory" about "Prince Eliot" is that he got pressure from the Dems to back off of his Driver's License for Illegals because that way it would shift the blame and focus off of Hillary and her refusal to answer the question about it and put the heat on him instead. Also I guess that the poll that said only 26% of his constituents would re-elect him was a kicker for him too.

Let's face it- most American citizens don't want Amnesty, or anything that smacks of it. We have enough burdens of our own, we don't need another cross to bear.

Gorgeous1, yes, they mentioned that on Lou Dobbs last night.
Evidently the Democratic State Reps in N.Y. were catching hell from their Constituents!
And it was all across the board too politically.
If this went through a lot of people were going to be thrown out of office and they knew it!

Status: offline 		I am an avid Dobbs watcher but missed last night. What buffoons those politicians are up there on Capitol Hill! Just who do they think they are, trying to sneak this garbage past us?

I am currently trying to get local politicians on board for an Assembly Bill that will hopefully amend California's Uniform Housing Code, which allows 30 people to live in a 1,200 sq ft home, which is a side effect of Illegal Immigration. I'm sick of living across the street from a Clown House. I've been beating my head against a brick wall, trying to get the Feds to stop the madness- I've been active for 10+ years on this. I have discovered that the battle starts at your local City Council. Arrange to have lunch with your County Supervisor. Bring photographic evidence of Day Laborers urinating or fighting on the public streets with you to lunch. Put a human face on it, and sometimes they'll wake up and see who they're REALLY supposed to be working for...the tax-paying citizens who VOTED them into office!

Status: offline 		In a perfect world, we wouldn't need to use more forceful measures to interrogate. Unfortunately, there are those in this imperfect world who wish to do others harm. I guess one has to ask how these people ended up in a situation where they need to be interrogated in the first place.

I have ZERO sympathy for terrorists.

I do have sympathy for military guys who had to go through "Hell Nights" though! Thanks for serving!
