Status: offline 		Went Floyd, mainly for the fact that their music has a more timeless feel to it, and is weighted in such a way that one cannot help but feel a strong emtion drawn from them by the music and lyrics.

If music is an expression of our souls, then Floyd did a decent job of it...whether they meant to, or it was a happy side-effect of invoking psychadaelia...

pahunk, there is no comparison, it's horrifying. There are good bands now, but nothing like then.

You're welcome, good lady. I have 3 more rounds for the 60s/70s, I'll post them in a day or two, then a week later or so, the 80s, a week later, the 90s. Ought to be interesting.

Status: offline 		LOL well I'm glad to give you the opportunity for more joy in your life, but I did read through all four rounds that I could find (despite the subject saying there are 7?) and found no mention of The Who in any of them, including number one which you linked to.

 They'll be in one of the next 3 rounds, LA. I thought about putting all of the 1960s-70s rounds up at once, but didn't have time.
