I dunno though I can't say it has ever bothered me. I suspect that they just happen to like the picture. We have a good one of Valyraen that I wish he would put up. Big grin and all the tools of the trade stuck into his belt like a BDSM handy-man. [:)]

I show her off because I'm proud of her. she also is a bit of an exhibitionist and I do indulge this aspect of her personality.

However I should point out that sometimes I'm in the picture too; although most never notice. [8D]

I like the dungeon and toy pics. I'm intrigued to see how other people have over time built up their own personal dungeon and I see no reason for them not to be proud of it.  When I'm browsing the photos on the other side I am much more likely to take a closer look at someone's dungeon than a pic of someone hiking. .... but that's just me.

i like that InkedMaster has a large collection of toys, although He's never posted a picture of any of them other than His bike.  He bought new insertables but good toys are expensive!  He doesn't like to break the skin with His percussion toys but even those can be disinfected.  One doesn't carry around a toilet seat for fear of someone else's ass having sat on one.

I don't have a need to show off my toys. :)
I have all the basics covered, for the most part. Not that I'm tooting my horn.
It's just that I would rather be considered as a man and a Dom, rather than by what I have in my toybag.
The fundemental part of the relationship is the people involved, right? Everything else is just dressing. :)

I don't have a problem with others showing off thier toys either, and they can have a lot of valid reasons for doing so.
That isn't to say, that there aren't any misguided reasons as well! [:D] Everyone could use a little humor everywhere. :)

Well, i don't have any pictures up, but if i did, i think toys would be a possibility... i make a lot of my own gear, and i think some of it is pretty neat.

Plus, my toys are a lot better-looking than i am [8D]

I really don't mind them, I mean, perhaps if it is the only picture or if they're crusty or something (not that I've seen that!) but otherwise, eh, some people have cool toys.

I have never minded pics of toys, those kinds of things can get the creative juices flowing - even if I'm all alone LOL. I would think that Doms/Masters would be proud of the toys they have taken the time and money to collect or create, and become proficient using. The pic says to me that He has the toys and is willing and able to use them, for His pleasure and for His girl's pleasure as well. Oh, and I don't know Merc and beth, but the living bra concept makes my face grin. [:D]

If the dominant bought them the dominant should keep them. Toys are expensive, good ones anyway, and it'd be a waste of money to give them away e very time a relationship ended. You can always provide your own toys to use, if his are not suitable, for any reason:)

I want to be a witness when you use those in a scene.

I have considered puting a pic of my toys up, but then I already have my ugly mug up on my profile as well. I think that it is a bit weird if the toys were the main pic, and that goes for pros as well as non pros.

I put pics up of the toys because I felt like it. Pretty simple, really. No purpose. No ulterior motive. I'm not looking for partners, sisters, brothers, clients or sugar daddy's,  .. I just happen to like toys. I'm going to put up a pic of my dog too, I just need to get it cropped right first.
