Ok so now I feel guilt about not offering serious advice...so here is my advice, since you did admit to being a newbie which is sweet, especially for a Dom....
I do not remember ever having that feeling of being a newbie. It might be because I am so old BUT I guess I am one of those whom, when asked on alt.com for example how many years in the lifestyle I answer all adult life. Actually I was just more or less born the way I am...
so I have always assumed mind control to be present and correct and working just as long as i believe it to be working....in my case mind receptiveness as a sub......
she will intuit your lack of self-confidence and that alone will make her feel unsafe as a sub.....
so mind conttrol is not so much down to behaviours (as if you read through the posts here there are entirely conflicting views on use of negative and positive rewards) but it is down to a steady and absolute belief in yourself as having implicit mind comtrol built in as a Dom.....
fake it until you make it mate ok???
