Perhaps we could then find some common middle ground…perhaps only burn half the flag. Since our own foundational documents seem so offensive, (apparently to even some at the Pentagon) perhaps a few minor revisions could ease the current rift between those who love their country and those who don't. Here are my new suggestions for the Bill of Rights:

Wow. Inaccurate Stereotypes.

She really wants credit and copyright to that piece of crap?

Oh, and since it's clearly labeled "All Rights Reserved", have you cleared your republication of the text, considering you don't note it as "Used with permission of the author/agent/whatever?"

I do like the way she associates the Left with Child Molesters, right out of the gate, that's sort of an interesting literary technique.

What parts of the Constitution has the right not gutted, currently even undermining it illegally?

Speech - ended under Bush with "free speech zones" that mock the meaning and intent
Guns - We have lost more under Republican's than Democrats
3rd - Immenent domain?  What BULLSHIT, using immenent domain was the only successful think Bushco ever did
4th - Privacy?  They are really going to try to say the left is against privacy?  I would have thought even idiots wouldn't fall for that but perhaps I am wrong
5th - Well this has to BE the favorite of republican's althought they invented "I can't recall" because they wanted  a 5th and 1/2 amendment too because well they want to claim you are guilty if  you use t he 5th.
6th - The party of Abu Graib and Guantanamo are right, the left does believe in having rights, funny to be mocking the constitution by claiming someone is "too wrapped up in a constitutional right"...so ironic.

Man, I'm glad I'm an Independant!
The "Left" is just as bad as the "Right" and the "Right" is just as bad as the "Left."
The "Left" tries to claim that it's unpopular positions are "human rights" and the "Right" tries to claim that big corporations have "rights."
There's a sport now called "Ultimate Fighting where they put two guys in a locked cage.
Do you see where I'm going with this?
Hillary and Ann in a cage fighting "to the death."
I'd like to see a lot more abortions among the "Left" and the "Right."
That's two herds that definately need to be thinned!

  Not really true,Popeye.

What the left supposedly suffers from,is just made up shit by the right.

Lefties are quite happy and stand on conviction.

The right wing/neo-cons,are getting convictions(legal ones).lol

We don`t need to make things up or spin things, just to sleep at night. The right has to make up shit like an Iraq-9/11 connection, just to mentally cope with that disaster, that they created.

Another way to cope with failure, is to do papers like this one. This is another version of Ann Coulter.

Go play with something else!Leave our Constitution and Bill of Rights be!

Owner, I agree with that.
And we have something called "States Rights" too.
The problem is that when someone with "an agenda" gets in power (Like Prince Eliot Spitzer) they try to pass laws that "they" want, not laws that *The People* want.
I think The People need to have a lot more say in government and this "Representative" form of govt just isn't doing that.
I think a LOT more things should be put on the ballot for The People's approval or dissaproval.
I think that *our* government has way too much power now.
I think we should have "Citizens Groups" in each state to oversee govt with full power to stop or start things.
And, they shouldn't be "elected" they should be chosen by lottery.
If states tried to "regulate" the First Amendment like they do the Second, people in govt. would be Lynched! And rightly so.
It is *not* the govt's job to be *dictating* to The People.
They have that exactly backwards!

I'm going to go against the pack on this one, I didn't agree with what she said, they were lousey stereo-types; but I DO think the Bill of Rights and Constitution do need to be updated a bit, some of the orignal Rights were to protect us from 'outside forces' well now, we are destroying ourselves from the inside out.  The Right to Bare Arms and a few other things should be updated; we update other laws, why not the 'Top 10' to make them more approprate for the new world that we live in, verses what the world was like over 200 years ago.  I'm not saying to scrap them, I am just saying to make a few minor changes to makes the US safer and a better place to live.

The process is called "Amending The Constitution". It is well documented, and fairly straightforward.

I encourage anyone who believes the Feds need new, or different authorities to engage in the process.

Whats to update on the right to bear arms?  its quite clear and it seems to me the only thing need be done is get rid of those trying to subvert the constitution is the best solution.

Fargle, that may well be true but it doesn't change the fact that Prince Eliot *isn't fucking listening* to The People of New York State.
What's next from him, free handcuffs for rapists?
Free firearms for armed robbers?
The guy is a fucking idiot!
If you do anything that would help an illegal alien that's called "harboring", a federal felony!
And that moron Hillary Clinton's refusal to condemn Prince Eliot is just one thing in a list of many that will lose the election for her.
She was already considered "unelectable" going into this!
She just keeps shooting herself in the foot.
All the money in the world won't get her elected.

I agree the right to bear arms needs to be updated, so that citizens can own advanced weaponry. Maybe if the people actually had some teeth, the politicians may not try some of the shit they try. Have you ever thought that maybe we have become too civilized?

Nobody ever tells cute girls they don't know what the fuck they are talking about.  Girl, you don't know what the fuck you are talking about.  The BOR has zero to do with "outside threats" and everything to do with providing the people with the tools they need to control and or remove the government, OUR government, PERIOD.

Clarification. Get rid of the Militia pre-amble, and make it clear even to illiterates that the Right is unrestricted. A simple "The right to keep and bear arms SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED" would shut up the whiny bitches who think that being armed is in some way a BAD thing...
