"Do you have items lying around that you don't use?  From bicycles that the kids have outgrown to old electronics or baseball cards, your stuff may be someone else's treasure.

Now, you can sell these items with little hassle and the added benefit of supporting Governor Mitt Romney."

I'm hardly Mitt's biggest fan, but this strikes me as a cool, creative idea. Folks get rid of stuff the don't need (sans landfills), and a candidate they support gets a contribution.

I`m ok with saving landfill space and all,but jeeshhh.

I thought he was richer than god.Not sure, but he`s given his own campaign, about 2/3s of it`s money.A shit load of money.

It`s one thing if you lose, when you`ve spent other people`s money. When he loses,it`ll be a double loss. All that money,.. down a rat-hole.

This strikes me as cheap and desperate. But I see your point about it`s creativity.

If you think about it, though, he's not wasting anyone's money. Supporters are discarding stuff they don't want anyway, and those who purchase the items get something in exchange for their cash. It honestly seems win-all-the-way-around to me.

Yeah, that sounds like a good idea!
It is a win/win.
I think I read that Romney is worth about $600million.
And he started a business and made most of it himself.
He did a great job turning the olympics around.
So, I think we need some new ideas in Washington.
Someone e-mailed into the Lou Dobbs show tonight and said; "The Congress is spending our money on everything but us!"

The auction software probably can't handle bids as high as that would produce.
