Instead of high-jacking,why not start a "death on tape" thread?Iraq has provided years of that kind of "fun".

More whining from owner59.  How is my commenting on a posted video a hijack?

This video is just one more reason to heed the admonishment "never work a crew served weapon"

The point of the OP,was to share the horror of what our GI`s face in Iraq.

It`s IEDs, that are doing the most damage. The tape shows how inescapable they are,and gives insight, into their injuries, especially TBIs.

It wasn`t for goons to post ,"the faces of death"

Start a snuff film thread, and enjoy your sickness there.

Thanks for the post the media just doesn't show things accurately. I do have to say that to really know it you have to live it.

Liking dead terrorists is a sickness?  Ok guilty.

Actually owner59, if you pay attention it is several IEDS going off in a disposal.   The video you show is a triumph and wonderfull for our troops.  It's a stockpile of Identified and Disarmed IEDs going off in a controlled disposal.  Manyof them,  possibly dozens.

I do not want to diminish the threats our soldiers face, but must point out you are over stating it.  And saying the video is of something other than it is.  The controlled explosion you show is far greater than any threat our troops do face from IED's.

If they are so "inescapable," how is it that we are getting rid of them with controlled demolition from a safe distance?  Hmmmm?

And if that had been "one of our GI's," you'd have posted it in a heartbeat and snarked about neo-cons buying shitty equipment.

Rich:
The overwhelming majority of our military junque is manufactured by the lowest bidder.  Consider that "match" ammo is only used in competition while the troops get "batch"ammo that sometimes does work as advertised.
You were aware that most IEDs are made from duds that have been disassembled and reconstituted.  Thus there is no shortage of raw material for making IEDs.
