The simple answer to your question is that most people in the D/s lifestyle have lived their entire lives in a near-constant state of conflict.  They are used to people testing their boundaries and (sometimes) even breaking their boundaries.  They are prone to testing the boundaries of others.  It can become very tiresome at times, but it is also the nature of the beast, so to speak, to find them here.  To be wrong is to be more than wrong.  To be wrong is to be ______ (fill in negative adjective here).  To be right is to be more than right.  To be right is to be ________.   Do you get it?  They're fighting for the glory of winning.

So when you accidentally step on their toes, be prepared to either knock them out or be knocked out yourself.

Six years ago, and some things don't change. Heh.

Well, you know what they say, sunshinemiss, the more things change...the more they stay the same.
