I'm a 39 yr old submissive living in Michigan, Haven't been active in this lifestyle for long, nor that much expierence. Been with the same guy for 3 yrs off and on and as of 6 -8 months ago I finally confessed my desires, He is a novice but He is catching on and we couldn't be happier.

Good luck with with your journey if discovery. There's a lot of people here with lots of advise, however there are some good workshops and seminars as well. You could do a search for local communities and perhaps go to a few munches to see what experience is local.

I used to live in Grosse Pointe, if I recall correctly there is a group in Southfield called the Stocks & Bonds club.  Might be worth checking out if you wish to meet some locals.
