I have all my other slaves bring me their life savings and I bid on one at the weekly slave auction held down the road at The River Rat Bar. I make real sure to only bid on the ones that still have most their teeth, and no kids. That cuts my choices way back to one or two a year.

Well, I think begging them would send out the wrong signal.

However, the ease or difficulty depends upon the definition for what you seek. Picking up a "slave" at a club for a night of play is about as easy as wanting to do so. Having a "slave" as a BDSM version of a "booty call" is also, as stated by the OP, "easy". Getting a live-in "slave" may take more effort but, depending on the desperation and current life status of the "slave" can also be "easy" as a "services rendered" for "payment provided". 

Then there is the matter of the qualities you seek in this "slave". Desiring to enslave a person who is independent, intelligent, powerful, and confident may have their own standards and requirements that aren't impressed with the initial honest representation of a "loving and caring" man or woman.

The goal and expectation determines the ease. What is desired determines the effort and difficulty. The perceived value of the desire reflects the effort exerted. The focus on the goal without compromise brings you to the desired result. In all cases it is a process that should be enjoyed.

On second thoughts.....

Any Dominat who started off with 'for me it's always been easy most of the time.........and then pulled that love you, care for you act, (that does indeed seem very 'vanilla familiar'), I would say was looking at the dynamic solely from his own pespective....a very narcisistic trait. if you don;t mind me saying so.
However....if a potential Dominat/Master ever said: I respect utter devotion, or I respect complete submission, or I respect obedience or words to that effect.....you know it takes two to tango....then yes I would listen.......
Narcissus was so in love with is own reflection (of love) that he failed to hear Echo until even her voice faded away.........................and all that was left of him was a ripple and the smell of him on her pillow..........

People  do tend to foget that these sorts of things are very simple.

A top learns of themselves over time,they find what happiness means to them.  They decide that they will only compromise very tertiary things in seeking that-the core ones will be firm.

They express this with honesty to a potential slave-and she decides if that-and the person behind those expectations-will do the same for him or her.

That's how it begins. It will ALWAYS evolve as things become more intimate-that's the lovely part of these interactions-both gain more freedom.

I'd say it's not a case of -getting- them to do anything at all, just giving them the space to be who they are-in other words, let -them- be who they need to be of their own accord.

Not to sound all "twue Dom"-ish, but if you just act like yourself when you're in the dating scene- be it BDSM or a bar- women that are attracted to you (provided that they're not drunk) are likely to pick up on your personality.  If your personality happens to be a dominant one, they'll probably pick up on it.

Cuz you know that if someone laid out a six - point plan that was "totally foolproof" to get a slave into your household, almost every guy on this site would be implementing it by sundown (including the babyface doms who I quoted)
 
And you KNOW I would coerce, manipulate, coax and strongarm any slave into a situation of my choosing because ... it is of my choosing.

Now you see since you went and decided to decide for me that I implied that I was Holier than Thou I figured I would address your post and see if I can concrete that idea.

I am Holier than NO ONE, I am just strung together with a different list of Morales and as for me, NO I would NOT be out there trying to implement them, Babyface or not I have NEVER been all about the Physical, however it seems to be what motivates you and there is NOTHING wrong with that, HOWEVER!!!!!!, at some point I would only hope you realize that the slave you have who has no choice and is still a person, Not a Fuck Toy, or a Target, or a Nameless Activity as it seems you would imply.

I am married to my slave, she knows that the only choice she has is to Obey or to Leave however the way that works when you involve love becomes a much more difficult road to navigate.
