Oh, and I loooooove when dominants can smile in their pics, looks so much more real and inviting. I need love, not just evilness. Almost everyone here can be evil, not so many can be joyful. I feel I can see more of a real person when someone is smiling in their pics, it is more of a window to the sould than the eyes for me. For the 'just not smilers' it is harder to get a read on their personality.

laurell3 -> RE: Is smiling a crime? (11/1/2007 12:55:27 PM)

You're not smiling in either of them, they're very "Dommly" pictures in my opinion, you are however, one hot lady in both.

Thank you laurell, very much. But now I realize that I really have to do a smiley picture because that is more my personality. Except this week. (this week might include blood splattered on the walls before it is over)

akisha -> RE: Is smiling a crime? (11/1/2007 1:05:07 PM)

I only have one picture I'm not smiling in and from the responses it looks like most people do smile. Maybe you are just looking at the wrong profiles lol

BRNaughtyAngel -> RE: Is smiling a crime? (11/1/2007 1:18:12 PM)

I hate posing for pics, so I'm generally not smiling in them..... sometimes it's just a smirky grin that comes out.

My main profile pic/avatar is one I took for my Master, so I was ~trying~ to look all sultry and stuff...... [8|]  [sm=rolleyes.gif]  LOL!

I do have another one on my profile that was taken right after this one that shows my smirky grin.

I have always wondered about the pics people use that show their messy/junky house in the background or the ones that look like a mugshot.  [sm=whoa.gif]

URASSISMINE85 -> RE: Is smiling a crime? (11/1/2007 1:43:15 PM)

I enjoy smiling cause im a positive person, and i'm sure that alot of Dom/Dommes are the same but smiling  doesn't change the fact that there dominant by nature!!

I'm smiling in both of my pictures, although I'm looking away from the camera in both, for privacy reasons.

And sometimes...
I'm smiling inside. [:D]  A great big ol' grin!
Weeeeeeeeeeee

thetammyjo -> RE: Is smiling a crime? (11/1/2007 1:56:24 PM)

I always put up smiling pictures of myself on here.

My own website has more variety but I think I look great when I look happy and smiling is one way to show that.

missturbation -> RE: Is smiling a crime? (11/1/2007 1:59:17 PM)

Having my picture taken throws me completely out of my comfort zone. I don't really smile when uncomfy and if i'm honest i very rarely like the results of smiling when having a pic taken. I rarely like pics of me full stop.

MistressRouge -> RE: Is smiling a crime? (11/1/2007 2:08:59 PM)

My slaves worry when I smile ;) and add a lil evil giggle [:)]

LuckyAlbatross -> RE: Is smiling a crime? (11/1/2007 4:11:27 PM)

I have to say I do think there is a stigma against kissing, laughing and casual cuddling between masters and slaves in the public scene arena.  The stereotype of doms being serious/tough/scary/talk about beating and laughing about pain and of subs being meek quiet seen not heard is alive and well.

But it's an undercover one and easily dismissed.

Yup, thats pretty much mine, except its an apartment.  I wouldn't want to attract the attention of a neat freak.

But, I am smiling. :)

LadyHibiscus -> RE: Is smiling a crime? (11/1/2007 4:38:14 PM)

I don't photograph well, and I find looking intense comes across better on camera.  In person, I am always smiling and laughing, and generally being my goofy self.

I have to agree with the OP about some of the pictures I have seen.  These guys look downright FURIOUS.  Who wants to hang with CrankyDom/me?

MidMichCowboy -> RE: Is smiling a crime? (11/1/2007 4:52:33 PM)

I'm just so damn ugly you can't tell when I'm smiling. ;)

TemptingNviceSub -> RE: Is smiling a crime? (11/1/2007 7:25:58 PM)

I am smiling in mine, it just simply is not my usual full blown grin..and yes LAT you were smiling in your old avatar pic...But for many male Dominant pictures I rarely see many with a big smile..I do recollect FangsnFeet having a very big laugh on his mug..kinda scarey..:0)..makes one worry what evil was wrought to bring such a look onto his face..Tempting

MrSpectacular -> RE: Is smiling a crime? (11/1/2007 7:42:05 PM)

smiling is not a crime - smirking could be though.

RRafe -> RE: Is smiling a crime? (11/1/2007 7:49:14 PM)

I'm almost about to smile in my photo-say something funny.

brightspot -> RE: Is smiling a crime? (11/1/2007 8:23:19 PM)

Well for one , I find that a lot of the pic's I see
are self taken or cam shoots, Hummmmm...
maybe for some it's hard to smile and shoot
(type?)at the same time[8D].

Missy.
