Something tells me it will be a short thread.. or a long one with lots of rants...

Real One, your pride shows in every posting.. I honestly am glad you can summon up that kind of enthusiasim.

The English, the Germans, and the French all went through what we are taking our turn at... This overwhelming feeling of "We have got to do better, and pull our shit together" We will get there, or have a bloody revolution. Though in modern times we have far too many sheep now for real change I think. Not nearly enough ballsy people willing to forgo thier Starbucks for a bit to have a better life in the end. LOL

However, everyone else on the planet is "proud to be" of whatever nationality they are, too.

That was a powerful story he told. Going from the idealism of being an American soldier in all of that righteousness to doing things that his entire being cried out as wrong. Wrong on the most basic level. I hope that one day he can forgive himself but I doubt that will happen.

No kidding huh? I have to alugh when they say fair and balanced news. It only means "politically".

I am surprised no one has said anything yet at which period in history this guys testimony resembles?????? Especially the second half!
