Hatton v Mayweather.

Hatton: rock-solid chin, game as they come, brawler, bully, will be stepping up a weight, will be in tip-top condition on the night, hungry.

Mayweather: flash, quick hands, classy, fighting at his natural weight, acts like a 6 years old, unable to keep his hands from his cock in public, does he still have the hunger?, does he have the heart?

Winner?

A good big-un always beats a good little-un. My money is on Mayweather, although my heart wants Hatton to win.

Like a good friend of mine--from Cali-- said the other day in a phone call - '' A good chin won't bring the whiteboy home '' ; }

When your hand speed/elusiveness is semi-comparable to that of R. Jones / Whitaker - It makes for a tough nut to crack.

Sticking my neck out here but I think Hatton might nick it. I then see one successful Hatton defence of the belt followed by an even bigger money rematch with Mayweather, who imperiously reclaims the title.

R, 'shame these two aren't the same weight because it would have been some fight of contrasting styles. Hatton has beaten an opponent who is/was more formidable than Mayweather, Tzu was brutal with everyone he came across, except Hatton who went after him and got right on top of him all night. 'Problem being that Hatton and Tzu were the same weight.

There's far more to Hatton than a good chin. He's as game as fuck and he's hungry. He'll be in prime shape. If Mayweather prepares right, he'll win by virtue of Hatton not being able to bully a bigger bloke, but if he takes him lightly Hatton will squeeze the life out of him.

NG, what's that thing about him grabbing his cock in public?
In Public?

I agree with NG. Hatton is hungry and holds no fear, Mayweather underestimates him at his own peril.

Shades of Curry/Honeyghan when Curry said who is this ragamuffin... He soon knew when Lloyd left with the belt

He came over here for a press conference and generally acted like a 6 years old.......talking utter shite and dancing 'round holding his cock.

Yeah, probably the best performance by a British boxer.

Hatton has a better chance than Honeyghan, but every time I think of this fight I just can't see Ricky getting on top of him. Somehow he has to pin the fucker down in the corner and go to work on his body.......if he does, Mayweather will melt away. Catching him and pinning him down will be the problem.

Gent....

Lets remember this thread a week or so before the fight. The only thing that scares me about Jr. right now: The last few fights have went the distance. Kinda similar to what happened to Roy Jones before he fought Tarver.

The press conference and the way Mayweather portrayed himself was entertaining to say the least, and the crowd chanting was somewhat amusing too. Mayweather in 9 after a real battle, hope I am proved wrong.
