Ron Howard, who directed "The DaVinci Code" will be making a film on Dan Brown's other book, "Angels and Demons."

They hope the film will be out in time for Christmas next year.

Having read both books I would have to say that "Angels and Demons" is the better read. (Though if you haven't read "The DaVinci Code" first it can be confusing since it is a sequel with the same basic characters.) I think it could be made into a pretty good movie with Howard directing.

Read both books and loved both books.  But I have never seen The Da Vinci Code movie.  I'm always hesitant to see how someone converted a good story into 2 hours of on screen entertainment.  Is it worth My while?  By now I can easily rent the DVD!  *Smile*

The movie is like a crash course of the book... It tries to get in as much info as it can. But the film follows the book very well...

The movie was good and worth renting.   Not surprisingly though, the book was better.
