Can anyone link me to a how-to for making a "frogtie?"

I'm aware of the tie and want to use it, but not sure how to make it.

I didn't know they made ties that small.  What reason would a frog have for wearing formal attire?

That made me laugh. Clever, clever.

I was thinking of something more like this, though: http://www.thedomsview.com/Vol7/I4/BDSM_graphics/bondageforsex/12a.jpg

[sm=biggrin.gif]  That was just wrong.  Hysterically funny, but so not right.

Rover -> RE: Frogties (10/23/2007 4:03:16 PM)

Ah, very nice.  But given that frogs lack opposable thumbs, do you think it's realistic to expect them to tie knots like that?

John

P.S. - I've seen frog's legs, and those ain't them.

Greetings John,
Thanks for a much needed laugh[:D]

Just wraps and cinches. I use 3/8 line for that. Do four or five turns from ths slip start, keep it a bit loose-starting with the wrists. Then do a couple of cinch loops between. I keep my fingers under for a little slack-not too tight. Knot it off.

Then do the elbows to knees.same thing. Not everyone is flexible enough to cinch it as tight there as you see models doing it. You may want to leave four or five inches slack at the knees,and just wrap it in between. I try to bind in ways that are not escapable,but sustainable-be wary of jerking someone around roughly when tied in extended postions.

You can do some serious damage to joints when they are made rigid to each other, and you put pressure on them..

I've always called that a leg-bind ... don't have specific instructions to hand for it though, it's essentially a cinch ... and I did like your joke Rover!

I love doing that sort of work. But it requires a lot of attention to detail-and patience. Poorly done rope work is probably the leading cause of body damage in bdsm.

In any case, I learned my shibari from a woman who does pro bondage websites. So I am very much into aesthetics in bondage-not just functionality.

mischievousone -> RE: Frogties (10/23/2007 9:05:09 PM)

Very nice link, I've never really been into bondage but when its done right its beautiful.

RRafe -> RE: Frogties (10/23/2007 9:33:47 PM)

It truly is.

My mentor taught me to do more wraps than shown in the pictures. As well she might, since it was her I was trying. Wonderful way to learn. Wider wraps are safer-since they spread the loads. One or two are ok for light bondage-anything more intense needs to have a more cocooning effect-especially with suspensions.

Dnomyar -> RE: Frogties (10/24/2007 4:50:46 AM)

Rover what is so hard about frog ties. Fishermen tie flies all of the time.
