It can be.. with MJ it's not so much, our connection is based on friendship and on history. As I said in the thread that seangrey started, I have been in a relationship where M/s and bdsm were transfered into almost a spiritual experience. It was very insightfull and taught me a lot, it also helped me to heal and move forward. Consequently, that partner has written a few books and papers and recently became a Rabbi. We keep in touch and he reminds me that my spirituality is what keeps me grounded and connected to this lifestyle. Spirituality and that 'source' is what inables trust and when in subspace the thoughts that are going through my mind, its also what keeps me grounded.

[:)] It was mentioned overly romanticism of BDSM and that was not really what i had in mind. i do not believe BDSM, D/s, M/s and so are better or more Spiritual than a vanilla relationship. My energy simply flows. I never try to analize or second guess it-very futile. I just enjoy it in the moment-that's enough.
