What are some good Halloween costumes for the dom and the sub? This is assuming you do not want people to know your lifestyle. I know things with leather are good for doms, or even maybe a vampire might show some dominant traits. I am looking for ideas that will not draw weird looks from vanilla party-attendees. Nothing with ass-less chaps for example.

Whatever you look good in and like? I'm going as a cowgirl. Valyraen will probably be the vampire bartender at our party because he usually doesn't feel like dressing up, but does like wearing his fangs.

This year, I am going as a barbarian women (think panther girl from the gor books) and my bf is going as a celtic warrior complete with kilt and sword. I'll show pics once we attend our party this friday. Last year, I went as a classic schoolgirl and my bf was a priest. I looovee halloween, when the kink goes public ;)

Remember the old TV show, "Beauty and the Beast?" The lead character, Vincent, could only go out into the world on Halloween night.... This holiday is the one where we CAN go out in our favorite clothes, and not be thrown in jail for it. Why pass that opportunity up?

Stephan is going as an old West preacher with Charlotte and I as whores who need saving via some good ol' bible thumping to atone for our sins ;) We're all going that way to a Bondage Ball, but I'll probably wear the same thing to vanilla festivities on another evening.

it totally sucks for me because the day falls on a work day and i dont get home until almost all of the tricker treating is over but i was thinking about buying a teddy bear costume from somewhere and showing up at Master's. For years He's always called me a teddy bear when we've just hung out and cuddled and for years i've said that i've wanted to buy a teddy bear costume and actually show Him that i was listening but then again i'd love to show up in a school girl outfit or a french maid uniform too....not that it would take me anywhere as far as the bed goes but, i'm sure He'd appreciate my thoughtfullness. thinking to self, in your dreams ~meticulous~

I'm thinking to go this year as a non-specific Autumn spirit/goddess. I'm hoping to dye my hair by then to an attractive mix of orange, yellow and red with a few small wisps of green thrown in, pulled up somehow with imitation autumn leaves decorating it. My outfit is going to be a simple black halter and either black pants or skirt and extending down from my hair around my shoulders and bustline are going to be the autumn leaves surgically stapled into my skin so they stay all night. Matching nail polish, face- and maybe body-makeup to round it out. Should be cute but also very casual.

I know a Dom/sub couple who are going as Animal Control (dog catcher) and a kitty. Doctor and nurse or patient. Cop and prisoner. Professor and the naughty school girl.

Most often at parties I see sub fems as cats, harem girls, school girls, nurses, devils, dark angels and butterflies and male doms as pimps, psychos or nothing at all. It's actually usually fairly vanilla in terms of creativity. I've previously gone with jeans and a tshirt that says "vanilla monogamous heterosexual" on it- that got some good reactions. This year I'm going as a slumber party girl (completely with pigtails and fuzzy bunny slippers) and my partner is going as an old school romantic vampire.

Last year 2 couples, Mistress and slave, had great costumes. One couple was German interrogator and American POW and the other went as a demon queen and a horny lil devil. Both looked fantastic.
