The Topic of Collars keeps repeating itself, however I have seen very little posted about other things that can be given to slave. Hell, items with additional meaning or carry personal meaning. Be these things given for the hell of it or earned. Things such are arm bands, ankle bracelets, wrist bands, waist chain belt. Things that perhaps carry a arabic, roman, greek, celtic or egyptian theme. Looking to hear from people that practice giving things besides collars alone, or perhaps don't even use Collars but use something else in place of the collar. Also looking for people to exchange links to places that sell these items online such; Chainmail & More http://www.sblades.com/ This site has some beatiful Waist chain belts and other things to adnore a slave with. So be this for personal eye candy, a deeper meaning or whatever. Thought this would be an interesting thread and topic to post about for a change.

Who would consider giving thier slave something like this Raven Gothic necklace over a traditional collar? http://www.sblades.com/ID-K20.php Perhaps a piece along the way to add to. Idea being instead of doing the typical Collar of Consideration then moving into a Training Collar then to a Formal Collaring. What about giving of an Arm Band, some other peice followed last by some piece around the neck? The picture in the link I provided shows a girl with 4 pieces. Two arm band, chocker neck piece, and a headpiece. This is just an example of something to give people something to think about, or get the idea across.

Actually all of those things and more are mentioned quite often in almost all of the thread I post on the topic. I have a pink peep bunny backpack clip.

Thank you for the link to that website and for asking about other items that are given to subs/slaves by their Dom/Master. Master David gave me a gold band for my wrist. It isn't tight, once i have it on but, it has no latch and it is tight going on over my hand. It had been His mother's and He gave it to me after she passed away. That really means a lot to me, especially because i know how much it means to Him. i haven't taken it off, since putting it on and don't plan to. Of course, this is in addition to the traditional, black, leather slave collar He gave me when He took ownership of me. He has also said that He plans on giving me a special necklace, as soon as He finds the one that He has in mind or, gets it made. slave joy Owned property of Master David

I wear it to munches, parties and whenever else he tells me to. When I first saw it in pictures I thought it was way too fancy, and would have opted for something plainer. But, the first time I wore it, I was like, wow! so I'm glad I kept my mouth shut about my preference. He also gave me a gold chain for all the time wear and a leather collar for sleeping and everyday, when appropriate. Sometimes, I wear the leather one around my wrist if it would attract too much attention wearing it around my neck.

I was once given a gold cuffs charm on a gold chain that I wore for the entire time I was collared. It frequently hung on the outside of my blouse or turtleneck, but only once did someone comment on it..guess it goes to show people only see what they want to. He also gave me a leather cuff i wore sometimes, with the bdsm logo attached opposite the D link. i treasured both. cheers jimini

Well if their your slave.... you give them whatever you want to give them thats significant to you or the both of you... not really sure it could be any simpler than that.

Fox has a necklace he wears that I actualy got at Michaels Craft Store. Its metal beads and hemp, and very very lowkey. He will be getting a stuffed fox, as soon as I can find one. Angel never wears his collar, but he has a small dogtag I had made for him engraved with his nickname that he keeps in his car. He also has a glass angel on his desk and has had it there for more than a year. There is also a Carebear Cousins Bunny, but it lives at my house, he wont bring it to campus. DV

I'm a big fan of the 'ooo shineys' personally. A medallion would be a good gift and they are reasonably inexpensive; actually I was just at Octoberfest and they were 40dollars for a pure silver with 2 engravings.

good topic any gift given to slave should carry a purpose to be found pleasing or inspiring to their continued Development to be pleasing ankle chains with dancing bells on them work as well as beautiful addornments such as clothing make up and such. but all in all slaves and bells always leavins a ringing sound of pleasure in my ears.

Duct tape. Heh. I stole the idea from a guy back in highschool who made his prome tux out of the stuff. Making a light collar out of it gives new, more literal meaning to "temporary collar"; quite suitingly when its to be just that! For me, the concept of a "collar" is more of an abstract one, where the manifestation is often, but not necessarily, a collar-like object. At one point, I used the traditional type of ring as a collar. It'd be neat to hear some more alternative ideas.

waist chains are wonderful things to show intent; for more "formal" collaring, i think that the cartier love bracelet locked upon one's wrist is incredible (that feeling of having it locked down upon one is indescribable and wonderous). it's there always, a constant reminder of the love, caring, protection, and of the relationship itself--mine will be there forever.

Clothing can also be a good signifier. I've always wanted to see people adopt the style of dresses that were in the movie version of "O". Elegant, but still keeping the sub/slave accessible to the dominants. One Domme I belonged to for a couple of years had me wear an "Eeyore" charm. (Esentially a reminder not to give in to my depressive cycles) and another had me wear gray t-shirts with the collars ripped out, along with the sleeves. They each had an ironed-on "symbol" of chain links across the chest. (I later found she had copied the design from a original Star Trek episode, where the Roman empire hadn't fallen.) Simple stuff, but it really worked for me.

Speaking of ancient Rome, I recently bought a set of coins from the early days of the empire, (ebay, $10 for a set of four) which I intend to turn into necklace charms. These are the sort of coins that have the image of the emperor on one side, and a sexual act on the other. They were coins used by the garrison in order to tell prostitutes what they wanted, even if they didn't speak the language. Seems these might also make nice "slave" signifiers. Or, if you can find one, a roman phallus charm might also work well.
