Wow so as the polar ice cap melts were actually looking for more fossil fuels to burn.

So when do we annex Canada for their crude oil reserves, and deplete those as well?
Leave distant remnants of electrical cars; and a desert planet full of ignorant blind leaders, and primitives..
End up living in small broken down make shift hobbles instead of our luxurious homes.
And watch as the rich completely ignore our plights.

Oh wait...."Duh"....

Well only thing to wait for now is the nuke...

Makeshift hobble? Is that of the spreader bar variety?

Me, I'm still looking for a Vindicator chaingun...That and enough ammo, you can take on anyone whom you can't negotiate or pickpocket...

I just started replaying F2 with a critical hit-based melee character (10 luck, "Finesse" trait) ... because it's fun to reach out and touch someone, with a crippling attack to the eye.

Yes...Odd how no other game--even the formidable Jagged Alliance 2--allows you to target a specific PART of your enemy's body. Jagged Alliance 2 allows you to target Head/Torso/Legs, and SOMETIMES hit an eye or forehead, or shoulder, or groin, but that is strictly random, not even stat-based.
Body-part-based called shots would be a WONDERFUL addition to City of Heroes/Villains--or most other MMOs, for that matter! Add debuffs based on what parts you hit...YES!

Yes, but one of the "features" players are nervous about is the "scaling difficulty"...As you get better, the enemies get tougher...I personally enjoyed getting the Vindicator and going back and absolutely ASS-STOMPING things that used to terrorize me when I was low-Level!
That, and of course, a different developer, different engine (I don't think the Oblivion engine is suited to an isometric hex-tile-based strategy-rpg, but that's probably just me?)
Also, they're going to INTENTIONALLY make the third game less humorous...I LIKE the humor, it kept it in the campy--but never quite GOOFY--realm of B-Moviedom, which it emulates more than a little, in music, weapons and car-design, and even "theme"...1950's or 1960's gone wrong, hammering every cliche in the book on the way there!
And what is the "gore" they're referring to? I played the whole of BOTH games wih Bloody Mess as one of my starting Traits, and the most "gory" death was a Floater hit at zero range with any Burst-capable bullet-weapon. Even then, the "gore" was at or below the level of the primetime series "Family Guy"! I loved how some weapons could instantly vaporize enemies, BUT you didn't get the loot, and missile-launchers didn't leave ANYTHING behind, and if you got too close, that included you! There was even a "hidden" weapon you could get with HUGE Luck from some dead aliens, it turned an enemy into a pile of powder, in the tradition of Bugs Bunny show!

EPGAH? Do you have a bunker built yet?
Got one in the makings? How many will you be able to hold in it?

Why do you ask? I don't believe America will go out with the bang of a nuke, or even the rattle of chaingun fire, but more with the quiet usurping of our land and resources by an inferior enemy that can outbreed us and suck our resources dry faster than we can do it to ourselves...Like the Undead/Orcish hordes of certain other videogames

Or america breeding itself out.

America's an empire, like it or not. And empires come and go. Hell, i'd go so far as to say that western civilisation is an empire. And i think that empire's near it's end.

Whether it goes with bang or a fizzle i can't change. But if it goes with a bang, i wanna know a little early so i can get mighty fucked up beforehand. Then build a massive bunker. Then take over the world from my sophisticated hub of electronics.

*sigh* it'd work better if i was more of a Dom, i think.

LOL, now THAT is sounding more like WarZone 2100 than Fallout!

I personally just cheat from the beginning.
Good Ole map editor lets me add a few trinkets to the temple of trials.

the guy who made shadow keeper made one for fallout, so I often use that as well when I desire it..
Like when I need to be good enough to make my robotic friend. -Science/medical needs-

But what I really find fun is just getting a monkey brain for the poor thing..going back over the game and screwing up a little to see what happens...

Any ways the whole point is that the world is getting screwy.

Its like grapes of wrath mixed with fallout..
And well hell even the mutant dogs are showing up.
Ones that supposable suck blood like vampires.

I want one as a pet so bad..
Still this is getting ominous..
