The simple answer for me is no.

I am quite sure that I can find plenty of people who are, in all seriousness, "more" than me in almost any area of my life.  Great!  Someone I can learn from if they can teach it and it is what I want to know.  However, I am one of those oddballs who expects a certain amount of humility to go along with the "greatness".  Because I expect them to have come to the same conclusion about themselves as I have about myself...there is always someone out there who is "more" than me in other areas of my life. 

In going through your list, I can find several of the descriptions to which I would answer "yes" in comparison to some I know but the thing is...who does it matter to if I am not willing to give guidance in those areas or if I am an obnoxious, arrogant, pompous ass about it?  Because you know what?  I can find plenty of those descriptions where I would have to say "no" when I compare myself to others I know.

Status: offline 		Only care when they cop this attitude to preach an agenda and “care” has levels and even this scenario barely would rank. Words should stand on their own merit and not need qualifiers for the most part.

Most people think they are the same or better then most in many things like intelligence, integrity, a subject or interest they follow, what they do for a living and things of this nature toward others. The huge difference is that most people also know thinking this and truly believing and acting on this is a humongous difference because reality shows us there is always a bigger fish in the ocean.

Do I care if it is directed at me, no, I am a big girl who consciously practices self responsibility. Do I care that there are people in this world that can get tricked by use of these types of qualifiers and tones, yes, I just do not know or care to judge who may or may not be like that.

This is why I love message boards and in particular this one. No matter what the topic you are going to get a wide range of views so anyone from someone with decades of experience to one minute of curiosity can see there is no one “true” way or expert.

But, were you someone within our life, id care a whole heap.

How you view bdsm life, is 'anothers pov' to me. Thats about it. No more, no less.

And only when someone's pov becomes true for us. That is when i take notice. Everything else, is an alternative point of view, sometimes illuminating, sometimes not.

Status: offline 		My partner and I spent time at a party on Saturday night, mostly a new crowd of people for us- they literally spent over a half hour just describing this one scene which happened over a month ago because of how bruised the top got the bottom.  It was like an orgy fest of "I'm such a bad top"

My partner and I both looked forlornly at eachother- we happen to enjoy talking about stuff OTHER than just how badass we are in a scene.

Does that mean we think we're cooler because we don't need to constantly talk about how cool we are?  I think we're just better conversationalists with more in our lives than "just" kinky play.
