I asked this before, but the topic was quickly buried and I don't know if everyone saw it..

Who here has a mind control/hypnosis fantasy? Not that you actually try it, but that it's a main fantasy of yours....?

me! i have a million (ok, that's an exaggeration) fantasises, but yes, i do have a hyponosis fantasy. i think it's about a transfer of responsibility at a very early stage in a relationship; a freedom from past problems, etc. But i like it alot; i always think of the hypontizer as a kind Dom.

Hey, it's my 100th post. Yay.

I love that, pink. I have had mind-control fantasies for such a long time. Even as far back as 7th grade, I used to masturbate imagining I had control of the minds of my hot female teachers and female classmates. To make them put on pantyhose and let me feel their legs. For them to pleasure me and run their lives.

Sooooooooooo hot.....

I've grown more in what I want and I realize it's NOT just about what I want in some fantasy, but in a relationship there are two people even if it's a BDSM one and one's a Master who gets what he wants.....

I'd still love to control the minds of women, though ;-)

Meeeeee! We've dabbled in it a bit and spent some time with a local email loop that was lifestyle and tist related. There is an excellent book on hypnosis that I would recommend by Peter Masters called "Look Into My Eyes".

Its funny that it was this very subject that made me realize that people experience subspace in very different ways. I found hypnosis to be very similar to subspace for me, but others say it is not even close to the same for them.

I was telling someone the other day that I'd love to discuss this sort of topic (well, a bit edgier aspect of mind control), but didn't figure it would receive many serious responses but on the flip side would probably get a lot of rants about abuse, etc.

This is a fascinating topic for me, but I'm really not prepared to get into an indepth discussion on it for the very reasons I previously mentioned. For all of the value I feel can be found in this website, and for all the caring and concern of some of the posters towards others in the lifestyle, its really not geared much past the fluffy stuff. Perhaps at another time, in another place :)

I find force play much more fun than putting someone under hypnosis. After all, where's the agression, the passion, and the seduction with someone talking like a programed robot?
Besides, mind controll is not domination. Domination can be difined as having ppl do for you as they are told because of respect and perhaps fear. Mind control plays no part in a person loving, fearing, and respecting you. So I perfer being more dominant and much less programing.

Congrats on 100...The thing is Superman, if you want it to be real, you would do good to do it with "Class. Love, and a true interest in having a healthy BDSM relationship where both you and a consenual partner are happy in meeting each others needs.
BDSM is not all about control of a woman. Hopefully these boards will help you mature.

Well, your public library has a book called Mesmerizm written by none other than Anton Mesmer (or can get it tout suite).........other good hypnosis books are available, it is not hard to learn.

edited to add: if you buy the assumptions of mr mesmer, it may have some value to use a violet wand or other suitable device in place of the electrical tub...........

It's much easier to find information about hypnosis. Get proficient at that first. Mesmerism is great stuff, but it's hard work, and all the primary sources have been out of print for like 100 years. Very basically, it uses the energy system of the operator to influence the energy system of the subject, sneaking up on their thoughts and feelings from a different direction compared to verbal suggestion, which modern hypnosis is based on.

I use a bit of mesmeric technique as a supplement in my hypnotherapy practice, but I don't usually talk about it with the client. Once their eyes are closed, they don't see me making passes down their central meridian, so they don't ask for an explanation that might take the whole hour.

I'd love to meet a lady, especially a Domme, who wanted to learn and practice hypnosis, mesmerism, or both!

I used to hypnotize my friends in grade school and mess with their heads.

Tell them things like "you cannot hear the word "the" or "and" or "dude" or "whatever"

Wake them up.

Say "dude, want to go to burger king and get something to eat or go out for sushi."

Watch the expression of complete puzzlement on their head.

It is not possible to hypnotize a person to get them to do something they are not already predisposed to wanting to do.

Im not sure I would call it edge play. It does rank on the side of mind-fuck play.
