The whole US administration is full of fucking idiots. When they get sick of us fucking around the big one is coming, and Russia and Iran will be allies against us. It's going to be the US and Israel against the world. We will be lucky if China stays out of it.
We cannot afford to start shit with Iran. But the day will come when some other player will come to the field, Russia perhaps. Perhaps what Putin said will hold true - if the US continues it's policy of preemptive--something-- Russia reserves the right to act in an analogous manner. Putin had no love for Sharon either. Talks went so well that he got a little bit of strife off the backs of the Palestinians a few years back. Not sure what he thinks of the new guy.
And Russia and China are pretty tight, at least compared to their relations with the US. Rice is a total fool for going to Russia, it just shows our weakness. We are becoming a weak bully. An old bully. A hated bully. A bully who wants to be the only one on the block with weapons.
The only thing that gets me is that there is never a call for the US or Israel to dismantle nukes and not build them. It's almost strange, like an eerie silence.
France has their own reasons for supporting the sanctions, and they have nothing to do with the goals of the US government. Their government is a bunch of quisling bitches just like ours. And they have no love for each other to say the least.
And, every Arab nation that is on good terms with the US and Israel is run by a puppet government. If we get really stretched too thin you might see a couple of revolutions, and if the People win, they will not be on our side. This will exaserbate each and every problem we have. There are also alot of Arabs in many other countries, some of them first or second generation, many with a strong sense of heritage. How long before they also come out of the woodwork ?
I am going to have to learn how to play a fiddle so I can play it when the new Rome burns.
