Rolling Stone magazine has a regular feature called "Threat Assessment", in which they look at the "Good, the Bad, and the Ugly" according to them. In the most recent issue, under the "Good" side, was the news that: quote: Russia debuts "father of all bombs", which kills people, but doesn't harm the environment Oh, well........

maybe they figure its a kinder, gentler bomb because there will be one lil invertabrae in the deepest ocean that will survive.....and eventually it will learn to walk upright and can start all over.....and it can read the historical stuff, since the buildings wont be blown up. and the next occupants of earth will be kinder and gentler i shouldnt type after going to the porch [sm=smile.gif]

Heh. I love the "doesn't harm the environment" part. Trees love being disintergrated, you know; we should nuke the rain forests! Meh. At least there would be less of a nuclear winter. Whatever survives could, potentially, be on a planet that isn't entirely dead.

Didn`t we invent this bomb in the 70s? The "neutron" bomb,I think it was called. One of the war monger Jimmy Carter`s new future weapons. Along w/ the cruise missile and "smart"(guided) munitions. What`s the big deal? So the planet will get blown up a few times more, than the hundreds of times it will be blown up now. Yawn....
