I was just on the main page and saw someones profile that describes the "gentleman" and his female offspring at the beginning of teen years.  It didn't look like fantasy stuff.
Have you ever reported a profile, if so for what reasons?

Twice.  Once because of content similar to what you described, and once because the person had cut and pasted my profile narrative.

the only ones i have ever reported are from men  who seem a bit European but live here..but they all say..they work here for a construction company..their wife and or wife and child died in an accident....and they have some kind of magazine shot on their profile or should i say..regular guy shot...too normal and a bit blurry always......and they seem to have something religous going on too..like i am their angel and salvation....like "they saw my profile and then they talk about religion as if i was an angel or something"..it all seemed like so much conformity...these are the ones i report![:)]

Only once.  It was last year sometime.  Some guy supposedly from the other side of Houston, sent me mail stating that his fantasy was to meet women online and let me state this politely, "off them".  And he wanted to meet me and abduct me.......along with whomever else he messaged.  I bet he contacted more than just lil ole me.   I know that guy was probably just a nut, that possibly didn't even own the computer he was typing from.  And of course he could've just been playing games online.  But being told someone has a fantasy like that, you just have to do something.  Though of course he could have re-joined later with a different profile.

More than a few times; one guy mentioned relations with man's best friend, another was talking about sex with minors, another was a stalker who I had a restraining order against and he kept harassing me.  The list goes n and on; that was when CM had to approve your profile, imgine what is on NOW, since they don't have to approve them any more. {shutters}

Too many complaints maybe or they wanted to get rid of some staff, I don't know.  I never minded the 'pending approval' thing; it at least gave some sorta 'saftey' net against those who where posting things that were against TOS.

I think they do approve profiles. They might do it really quickly, and they might miss a few, but the management of CM seems to be very image concious.

Wouldn't you ? I mean if you got on the site and found pedophiles, animal screwers or whatever, dunno the word right now, would it entice you to join ? I think not.

In fact they bounced my picture, I never got an explanation. I was holding a can of beer, but had edited out the brand name. Maybe I should try it with the brand name intact and they might get a few bucks from Budweiser ? Who knows.

But really, I do think they still approve profiles, looking at the attack speed of Mod11 I just think they do it very fast. As such I guess a couple of whackos could slip through.

They rejected My photo twice because I looked "underage" in it. Ha!

Numerous times.  I've never even really searched for anyone either.  Just the profile that pops up when I sign on.

Anyway I've reported them for children in the nude for the front photo.

Very obvious to anyone children at that.

I found this guy's profile very offensive.  It is one thing to mention how much you love your child and totally another to talk about the way he loved her.  What a creep.

yes, and he is still here. 

Not so much the profile itself but I reported him.

I asked him what 'be a submissive to his family' meant??? thought he was just not disclosing a poly relationship.

what it meant was that his male ums would be able punish me the same way he did.

uuhhggg I almost chucked my cheerios. I was most disturbed and fidgedy for a few days. A helpless feeling.

I guess because he said these things in CM mail and not within the profile itself it wasn't removed.

I was blocked by him as soon as my first reply that he is a pig and should be shot dead.

I used to report the profiles from ghana and the like that were obvious scams but it seemed like they were getting through initial profile approval pretty easily but getting yanked quite quickly afterwards so I stopped.

I report them all the time--criticism of specific users is starting to get out of control--but I've never seen that reporting them accomplishes anything.

i've reported one profile..It was of this 'man' who i had met through this site who raped and assaulted me.  i offered to give CM the police report number and everything, however he's still here...Trolling for more and newer victims...

i can say yes it is not many who are in that range of the sick who go after childern . but i ran across one that made me sick and i reported him it was very strange letter. talking of going out with a very young girl i had not problem reporting him and you can tell when it is real and when it is a fansty this was real i learn this from working at schools and wow he was real sick. i would protect any child the moment io read it i knew it was time to report him and i did no i do not judge other but when it coem to a child and knowing how later in life how it hurts and screw with their minds i have no problems at all

The reporting process isn't monitored.  Once they have clocked up a certain number of complaints - I think it's about five - they are yanked automatically.  I have seen profiles with inappropriate content before and reported them, and nothing happened.  So I got some friends to report them as well, and then they disappeared.
