Hello. I have recently found the Forums and decided i should introduce myself before I go off spouting my views. [:)]
I am recently separated after a 25 year marriage to a man who told me that i was weird, strange and I think he even mentioned "sick." Needless to say, we didnt explore bdsm together. I buried my feelings for a while and then came to the conclusion that i was tired of being miserable with him. I could just as easily be miserable without him. :)
So here I am embarking on the next stage of my life- meeting open-minded, friendly people who understand that sometimes there is more freedom in bondage than in freedom. (Did that make sense?)
I was in a long term D/s relationship outside of my marriage and discovered my needs and desires. The relationship ended when our lives changed and i tried to make my marriage work. The marriage didnt survive, my submissive feelings did, and after a break of 2 years now, I am slowly re-entering the scene.
I'm 50 years old, with 2 children still at home. I live in the philadelphia area and was once active in a group in central jersey called "The Mission." I've also attended other group events as well-- The Gate and KFE are 2 I still remember.
